Really? you really think Sacramento is going to make the playoffs this year? haha, not a chance.
Dallas will surpass them without  a doubt now Williams and Dirk are back.
Portland will eventually get their s*** together and surpass them as well. Too much talent.
If Sacramento couldn't make it last year with a descent team, why they should do it now with a worst one.

Without looking it up I would guess Williams is 33 or so and dirk is loke 39.

Kings are on a 4 game winning streak and they are FIRMLY holding the 8th seed in the West (ugh).

Looks like Cousins is a pure pipe dream for everyone in the league now.

Yeah, with them in playoff contention, they're very unlikely to move him.  If nothing else, they should try to sign him to an extension this summer.  They should still be able to trade him even under a super-max contract if things continue to go poorly.

One of the Kings reporters.. (I think Carmichael Dave?) said there's like an 80% likelihood the Kings offer Cousins the super-max trade extension before even thinking about trading him. I think that's the route they go. Cousins hasn't explicitly stated that he hates Sacramento either so he may be loyal and stay with them.

these 4 teams are technically all 2 games within each other, anyone can take the 8th seed, hell even the Lakers are roughly 4 games behind the Kings...

i think the 8th seed is interchangeable at this point with Memphis being 5 games ahead of 8th seed. I honestly feel by the end of the season, Portland will be in the 8th seed, just a hunch

Boogie aint coming here. Said that before will probably have to say it again once they fall out of playoff contention.

Some frustration is setting in:

Quote
“At the end of the day, it comes down to you just having some type of pride, dignity in stopping your man,” Cousins told reporters. “That’s what it comes down to. Forget a scheme, forget a rotation - one-on-one I’m going to make sure I stop my man. I’m not going to let this guy drive past me or into get in the lane and create something for somebody else.

"At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to and until we accept that and hold ourselves accountable...at the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to. So until we’re ready to buckle down and do that, guys are going to continue to kill us from behind the 3-point line, guys are going to continue to get in the paint and get what they want. Teams are going to come in here and run us over."

Cousins, who led the Kings with 26 points, eight assists, five steals and four rebounds, hopes the new year will also bring more effort from the Kings.

“Like I’ve been saying, it’s on us if we want to change this thing around,” Cousins said. “That’s it. I’m tired of these ... excuses. It’s on us.”

Terrible waste of talent .  You wonder how long he can endure losing .

Meanwhile, the BKN pick is currently sitting at #1.

Unfortunately they won against Denver tonight, which was a crucial game for the playoff positioning.

Why do you say that so confidently?
