I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Yeah I like our guys but since we have 2 all stars, an all-NBA defender, and several options for the 5-7 spots, I'd be looking had as hell for one more high impact guy, and we really just have so many pieces.

2 BKN picks
Our own 2018
Some other 1sts I forget...
Yab and Zizic rights
Smart/Olynyk/Rozier
Amir/Zeller/JJ

The thing is, like in 2007, Danny would try to split his 2 best assets into 2 packages to Ring in 2 top level players.

I mean, to be fair, he did also say this:

https://twitter.com/GwashburnGlobe/status/804429403442782208

Now, i dont know how you interpret that.
Is that "I heard. I heard" as in, "yeah...i know...sigh *frown*...I hear it all the time and it sucks"?
Or is it "I heard. I heard" as in, "*chuckle* yeah, *smile* i hear it all the time *grin*"

Probably doesn't make a difference really though, lol

Can Isaiah like just tweet at him soon, be like "Hey bro come to Boston". Recruit him hard.

They are great friends.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that illegal?

that's essentially tampering, so yeah, i dont think that's legal.

Boogie and Al would be unstoppable .....two BiGs that can control the game and shoot threes

If somehow you can add Cousins to this team without giving up IT, Horford, Brown and Crowder... Oh man that could legitimately be a championship team.

As good as the Warriors and Cavaliers are, Cousins would create a ton of mismatches against either teams and hopefully exploit them.

And IT, Bradley and Smart seem to have elevated their games even further, while Horford has made this offense run so smoothly (and his defense is great as well).

Overall lots to like. Hope Sacramento keep losing and DMC demands out (ultimate goal).

I'd give up Brown in a heartbeat. He's not a deal breaker for me AT ALL in a deal for an actual all star.

Even if the 2017 Nets Pick, Smart/Rozier (one of them), and others are already included in the deal? I think adding Brown makes it an overpay especially considering Cousins only has 1.5 years left on his deal.

Considering the vast majority of elite talents like Cousins aren't traded until the final year of their deals, getting 1.5 seasons of him should be considered pretty great.

But at that cost? And if he does leave after 1.5 seasons.. well there go most of your valuable assets.

Yes, that is the risk involved in trading for any superstar player... but it's an established base line. See: the trades of Kevin Love, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard.

Point being that "well, he only has 1.5 seasons left" isn't going to be *that* much of a factor. Boston won't be the only team that can and will try to trade for him. They'd be bidding against other teams, not themselves.

Yes, but he CAN say, "It sure would be awesome to play together again at some point!"  There is NO tampering in that statement whatsoever!!!!!!!

Does anyone have a link or explanation to what exactly qualifies as tampering? I did some quick research but am still kind of foggy.
