Amir, Rozier and Young + 2 first rounders sounds about right. After all, wasn't this the type of haul that Melo and Dwight got when they were traded in their primes? I could be wrong.

I kind of think the only way SAC does this is if at least one of those 2 first rounders is a Nets pick (or pick-swap).

Also they probably want rights to Yabusele as opposed to Young (they are really high on him).

Kings definitely would consider that.

Although it's from another thread, I thought this is worth sharing.

If Rozier keeps improving we might end up in business for Cousins.

Zizic, Roz Nets 2017 and our 2018 pick.

More Cousins rumors. This time a Western GM says that he expects him traded sometime before the end of December. I hope we're ready to nab him!

enough with the low ball offers, let's get something done.

here is an offer that provides Sac a way out of their current mess, and provides a path forward to build a respectable team while gathering assets for the future.

They send both Gay & Cousins, a combined $60M in salary over two seasons, for:
AB, Crowder, Amir, Rozier, Young, and their choice between the two BKL picks.

Sure, it feels like an overpay, but consider that GS can just offer Klay Thompson straight up and beat just about any offer.  If we want to capitalize on the IT/Horford era, while keeping some future assets, this is probably a risk you have to take.  I certainly can't see the Kings turning it down.

Yeah okay....

And I really don't think GSW would do that, and if you think Klay had issues fitting in that team, then Cousins another high usage player would make that just as bad if not worse, due to chemistry and fit issues....

And of course the Kings won't turn that down, but their looking for a good rebuilding package. Picks, and young players should do it.

Reported by Sean Deveney. He's a pretty good reporter. But he makes some very bold assertions and reports at times (like the Blake rumors over the summer, which he may have actually heard from sources, it just seemed rather unlikely). Hope his word is indeed true this time.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Just take a look at this video guys.

This has the look of someone who is completely given up, and absolutely defeated.

Gay is leaving, their lottery picks haven't amounted to anything, and already 4-7.

I mean the longer they wait, the less value Cousins is going to bring back.

Cousins was born frustrated.  He'd be at least 50% frustrated for one thing or another in the final game of a championship season.

Yeah I honestly feel bad for him too. Does he have an attitude? Yes. The thing is he works his freaking ass off on the court to carry his team to wins and is left empty handed. Honestly you guys say you don't want him on your team because of his attitude, but tbh he is what we need right now. We need, heart, and fire that we had last year and haven't been so successful at recreating it. I think we bring in Cousins and he makes us a contender and suprisingly becomes a leader. He just needs a fresh start and I think we are the best place for him.

If he wants to force his way out, then he has to embrace looking like someone who has completely given up on the court.

As long as Cousins is seen as a talent who you can built a contender around and as long as the front office and ownership see themselves as people capable of building such a team, they are going to hold onto Cousins.

I am absolutely all over wanting him.

If there are any teams in this league that have the culture to potentially turn Cousins attitude around it would be Boston or San Antonio IMHO.

We have as good a shot as anybody, and if Cousins can be kept happy he is the best center (and a top 5 player) in this league.

Exactly, and I'm feeling giddy seeing all these articles pop up and Shaq's words..

Predicting that Cousins will be dealt by the first half of December.

Now time to just hope the pesky Lakers don't decide to make a move for him  >:(
