You win 200$ LB.
Interesting... and all Philly has to do is win over 25 games? My dear friends on Libertyballers.com are predicting Hakeem Embiid and Magic Simmons will vault the squad to an 82-0 season. I'm not sure who to trust.
Just so you are not confused, you would win 100 dollars (plus you get the 100 dollars that you bet back)
I told myself I'd never gamble after Ryan Thomas owned me in the a-POG-alypse, but that's intriguing.
Problem is, even if healthy Embiid is better than Karl Towns, as Brian Scalabrine suggests... and even if Ben Simmons makes an immediate impact... and even if Dario Saric is as good as he was perceived two years ago (Tier 2 prospect just like Marcus Smart)... and even Nerlens NOel continues to build on his DPOY potential and Okafor continues to build on his dominant interior offense... and even if the Bayless, Henderson, etc additions prove to be fruitful... I have a hard time seeing that team be significantly better than the 2015-16 Timberwolves that won 29 games last season. It's probably going to take Philly a few years. On paper, 26 wins seems doable in the Eastern Conference, but there's too many variables at play right now. Embiid still hasn't played a single game and is likely on a minutes restriction. They could use a reliable shooter. I wouldn't be stunned to see Philly win less than 20 games. I wouldn't be stunned to see them make the playoffs.
FWIW, I'd be more surprised to see Jaylen shoot over 40% next season than I would be to see Philly make the playoffs. Neither seems likely.
