I say no. Don't do the trade Danny. Blake Griffin is not going to get us over the hill.

Not without Blake at least picking up his player option. One core player, one pick, a few bits and pieces.

Question not specific enough.

Both Brooklyn Picks, Bradley, and Smart?  Probably not.
Amir, a 2018 pick and the Grizzlies pick?  Sign me up!

I'd do Amir, Smart or Bradley, 2018 BK and their own pick back, plus Griffin has to promise to resign in a secret ceremony where Blake and Danny cut their hands open in a magic circle and swear a blood oath to Baphomet.

Depends on how long Griffin would want to stay. I think you could easily argue that 5 seasons of Griffin could be better for us than 2 lottery picks.

Griffin, a five-time All-Star, missed 41 games during the regular season because of a left quadriceps injury and played in only five games between his return and the start of the postseason. He sat out the final two playoff games after re-aggravating the injury in Game 4 of the Clippers' first-round playoff, but is expected to be healthy again before the start of training camp.

Griffin has started rehabilitation after undergoing a bone-marrow procedure on his left quad tendon on April 27.

Bone marrow procedure?  I cannot comment on a trade for him without understanding the severity of this.  It sounds horrible.  Anybody have any medical insight into this?

No - go for Cousins and try atleast to keep Brooklyn 2017 pick, if Ainge can pull something like this = GOAT GM.

Keep the Brooklyn picks and wait for Philly to cave.

I'd do Brooklyn 2017, Amir, and AB for him if the doctors give him the all-clear. More than that is starting to sound bad, when we're going to have to pay him the supermax next year. I'm not sure exactly how worried to be about his quad, but it isn't good when a player who relies on athleticism goes down with a serious injury right when their athleticism is already beginning to wane.

If he will not extend the contract then hell no.

Help me out here. Doesn't Blake play the exact same position as Horford . . . the 4? I get that Horford will move to the 5 alot but these guys are not nearly as complimentary as KD & Horford.

https://clipperholics.com/2016/07/12/clippers-rumors-celtics-still-interested-in-blake-griffin-trade/

He has dunked so many times, I'm thinking he could be toast by 30 or 31 like Amare was. Unlikely to age well.

That said, you could talk me into an overpay of ....  1 BK pick, 1 Boston pick, 2 seconds, Avery, Zeller, Jackson. I'll throw in Gerald Green too ;).

That gives them 4 picks, and depth at 1, 2, 3 and 5. Doc desperately needs draft picks and solid bench guys to replenish his squad.
