I'm normally not one to throw around weight jokes, but:

Sully is really excited to be measured in kilograms instead of pounds!

Toronto has no space, they must be getting him for an exception, wow.

They have the full MLE, which is >$5 million.  Less than I though he would get a week ago, but I figured we'd keep him for that much

Man, I thought he was going to get 4/60 going into this offseason. He really got screwed by the RFA designation.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Sounds like it. Between Valanciunus and Sully, we're going to struggle with their size.

Eh, I'm not worried. There's less space for them inside now, and they'll be killed defensively with stretch 4's with either Sully or JV guarding out on the perimeter. Their rebounding should be solid, though.

Better than the Nets! Is he going to be their starting 4?

Agree, but rather he went West...oh well...not surprised...Sully had some of his best games vs Raps....I remember one 20/20 game.

good Luck, SullY

Sullinger playing for the MLE ($5,628,000) for one year means he's basically playing for what his qualifying offer was ($4,433,683).

Also, it's not clear to me if DeRozan signed his contract yet.  The Raps could have a little more than the MLE to give him, around $6 million.

Oh goody.  The one guy who actually rebounds.

Ya know what would be fun?  Having an actual solid team instead of revolving doors.

Sullinger's roughly 1/6 deal tells us one thing: Danny had no interest whatsoever in keeping him.

Wow, I guess Danny was really fed up with him then.

Watch as he learns how to lose weight from Lowry and blossoms into a 20-10 guy.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Haha Woj seems salty about Sully's tweet lol Is that against professional sports etiquette or something?

So their big rotation looks like :

Patterson, JV

Sullinger, Poeltl

Caboclo, Nogueira

Hm. Not bad. Not great, either.

Probably as good a compliment as one is going to hear about Toronto on CB. They've won three straight division titles and they still aren't really respected here.

The Celtics are bringing everyone back besides 2 people. Are you new to the NBA? A few players leave every season it's impossible to keep everyone forever.

We should have kept those two and not signed the four time All-Star, obviously.

To be fair, though, Sullinger could very well be needed to counter Cousins should that dream ever come true for the C's. He'd at least have the bulk to not be abused by Cousins'/Horford's physicality.

Either some kind of trade is coming or Danny wanted nothing to do with Sully. Kind of surprised that DA didn't even want him for 6 million a year. He's a great character.

Thanks for everything Sully.
