More lies by Wyc.

Y'all better not besmirch the Wyc.

I like to call him "Fireworks" Wyc.

Nah, in this case, you go full portmanteau and call him "Firewycs."

I imagine it would be Smart/Amir/Brown/2017 or 2018 Brooklyn pick-(NOT Both)/Memphis pick..Plus maybe some other future picks-?
Smart Amir Brown '17 is a huge haul for a mega-knucklehead like Demarcus Cousins.

Perhaps...But you gotta give to get--and there are 28 other teams out there, waiting to pounce---Cleveland with Love, etc.

Please somebody with skillz make a gif or photoshop a meme of Wyc watching fireworks or a loop of Wyc almost about to light fireworks but backing off or a medley of Wyc faces bursting in the air like fireworks.

Im no capologist, and I haven't even gone to the trade machine, but something like Smart, Amir, Young, Demetrius, (maybe crowder OR Bradley if that was the sticking point), BRK 2018 (try as hard as you can to make it 18 not 17), Clippers and Memphis pick, and whatever other filler you need. (olynyk if its a must, but like the other things try to keep him.)

Basically rolling into the year with Brown getting heavy minutes as a bench scorer and defender, Rozier gets to be the other bench guy. IT/Horford/Cousins would be awesome.

Last night on Sports Tonight...Felger was talking about his Wyc interview...

He said when Wyc made the "difficult" comment, the guys in the studio got a text from one of their studio sources , saying Wyc was indeed referring to Cousins.

Wish we knew how reliable their "source" is.

Oh hell yes!!!

I'll rejoice if we can get him. If we can get him for only picks (all of 'em, I'm assuming), plus any contract filler if necessary, plus non-lottery prospects (i.e., no Smart or Brown) then I will be out of my mind with joy.

^^^ That would be an absolute STEAL!!!  ;D

I agree but I have to imagine the Kings's asking HAS to include either Brown and/or Smart, something that I am willing to give up but don't want to lol

but there is your big 3 in IT/Horford/Cousins

hell if we can keep Smart and Brown, I'd take a step back and trade Bradley and/or Crowder and other fillers to get him because as a #3 pick, I think it's kinda of a waste if you are investing in a lottery pick and not start him

Yep. They'd want either Smart or Brown. I'd rather give up Bradley or Crowder. I'd much, much rather just let them raid us of all our tradeable picks and keep everybody significant. Even losing Kelly would sting a bit.

Isaiah
Bradley and/or Smart
Crowder and/or Brown
Horford
Cousins

...would be a legit contender.
...would have a fighting chance against the Warriors.

if we give them brown and the 17 right to swap plus the 18 Nets pick, that would mean we in effect trade KG and Pierce for Boogie? Not a bad deal... but that is a major haul for Sacramento !!!!

I really do not want to trade Smart or Brown.  I am a big fan of Bradley but might move him if Rj or a guy like that really is going to step up.   I would rather package some of our lower level assets like Rj, young etc plus picks for a guy like Cousins. I just don't see how that gets done.   Matching Salaries is more than likely going to take Bradley and Crowder unless we sign and trade Sully and Zeller to them plus some of our younger guys and picks.

Amir, (possible Rj), Crowder plus both nets picks for Cousins.  Or sign and trade them Sully and Zeller.  Amir makes more sense though although leaves us without a backup center.  Mickey is coming though.

Wouldn't Amir be good for them to go with Kauley Stein + Crowder and Rj.  Plus 2 high draft picks.  That's a good amount.

In essence, yes, but the big trade has led to several smaller moves, too. For example, we took Tyler Zeller and the Cavs 2016 First into the Pierce TPE. We then traded the Cavs Pick for Isaiah Thomas. Just by expanding the return to that one chain of trades yields another All-Star. It really is the trade that keeps on giving.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

If it's a trade for Cousins, that would mean we would be sending out a few players and subsequently have some roster spots available. So I would want us to add a veteran presence or two (Pierce, Brand, Perk, Haslem, etc.) in order to help keep Cousins in line.

not getting my hopes up, but for the love of god - can Cousins just please publicly demand a trade so we can bring him to Boston where he belongs?  He's a nutcase, but he'd be our nutcase.   The Kings haven't had a winning record in a decade.  Get that guy out of there.  He needs and deserves a fresh start.

Kosta Koufos, Ben McLemore and, of course, Rudy Gay are three Sacramento Kings available via trade, according to league sources

One thing to keep in mind, Sacramento might feel a bit of pressure in making a trade. They have 12 players on their roster, and are over the cap. Keep in mind they have agreed to acquire players using cap space...

Not counting rookies either.

Acquiring either Gay or Koufos would eat into cap space next year (and probably require trading Amir), so I doubt the Celts will be in on any of them.

I have a feeling Cousins will be available for trade at the deadline, as a preliminary matter, and then ultimately get traded next summer.

Cousins to Boston is the best kept secret in the NBA. Now whether it happens or not is another thing, but you know they got to be talking about it
