I am not sure how you have any of knowing that. The Celtics asked for a lakers pick that projects for the high lottery along with Okafor/Noel for the number 3 pick. It has been widely reported that Okafor has less value than Noel. I honestly think if the 76ers were offered the 13th pick and someone like sessons, courtney lee or a tiny bit better they would do the trade. They want to get rid of him.

Maybe Ainge told him to talk so that every "difficult" player in the league becomes paranoid that he is the player being talked about and becomes discontent in the locker room, lowering his price even more.

The questions why do they want to get rid of him?

Is he a problem child?

I saw he was seemingly an either/ or with Noel too. The fact is I believe, with no proof, that teams want Noel and not him for a reason and it ain't a good one. That would drive the price down wouldn't it? Yes it would my friend.
