Amir for DMC works salary wise.  Throw in the 2017 and 2018 BK picks and I am OK with it.  Can toss any young guys but Smart and Brown in there too.

I might also keep Rozier from being dealt... Since he projects to replace Evan Turner..

I wouldn't trade the likes of Yaubusele, Ben Bentil, or Demetrius Jackson, until we know their true worth. Might want to retain them as developmental projects

Where is all this cousins goofiness coming from? I haven't seen a single rumor other then Wyc's "difficult" comment.

If that's what's driving this then I'm pretty sure ya'll lost it.

How many active, difficult players can you even think of?  Howard, Rondo, Deron Williams, Whiteside(?)....I mean do you think we're trading for Metta World Peace?

If I am Danny I say:  our pick in 2017 (with swap rights) and the unprotected 2018 Brooklyn pick, plus your choice of RJ Hunter, James Young, GY, Ben Bentil, DJ, and the Croatian Sensation.  If they demand Rozier I reluctantly relent.

With the both BK picks we cannot trade Smart or Brown.  I would trade one only if we kept our 2017.

You wouldn't trade Demetrius Johnson for Demarcus Cousins, a top 10 player in the league?

lol...it wouldn't hurt to lose the likes of DJ, but as a Armchair GM, I want to to get value out of my picks, to see who's worth keeping and who's worth putting on the trade block

Well, Okafor did punch out a Cs fan just this past season. That has to constitute 'difficult' in some manner.

Am I missing something here? It's Demetrius Jackson, right? Are we just calling him Johnson now? But, yeah, no problem with him going in a Cousins trade.

In what universe is flipping a second round pick for a franchise player not "get(ting) value out of my picks"?

DJ is just a binky of mine. A real-life GM wouldn't think twice about parting ways with a player like him. But just for the sake of argument, let's assume that you knew Steph Curry would become a 2-time MVP 6 years after being drafted, and lead you to a title and potential dynasty. Would you still have gone ahead and given our 2009 1st round picks to MINN to get Garnett anyways?

Not equating DJ to Curry, but just making a little point lol

To be clear, your "little point" is that because the seventh pick in the 2009 draft turned out to be an MVP, we should be risk adverse about trading the 45th pick in the 2016 draft for an MVP caliber player?  Forgive me if I missed how the inference is logical.

More lies by Wyc.
And I await The proof that backs up this accusation.

Thank you. I am not aware of Wyc having lied to us at all.

Yes, he said two years ago that he hoped for fireworks that summer. I presume that to have been the absolute truth.

Difficult negotiations
Difficult salary match
Difficult to let certain players go in the trade
...

But a "source" "in the room" says Wyc was def talking about cousins...
