1.  I hope GSW is ready for the fallout.  The national media kiss ups will be all over them but they are going from one of the most popular to the most hated teams in the NBA.

2.  This will not be as easy as they think.  Barnes is gone, Ezeli is going to be gone, they have to trade either Bogut or Iguadala and I would expect them to lose another bench piece or two given all the cap space teams still have.  GSW is also going to have to significantly change their style of play.  Durant is not going to be happy running off screens all game.

3.  Durant can kiss goodbye any chance of being considered an all-time great.

Mike
Some "basketball decision", KD.  Dubs will be the Clips now.

Here's the glaring omission here.  We kept crowder over butler  ::).  Durant comes here if we had butler.

Aldridge is talking about outside business interest of the ownership swayed him. Is this even allowed under the salary cap?

Depends.  If the pitch is, our reach extends beyond the NBA and we can promote you better, yes.  If it's, our other businesses will give you large endorsement deals, then no.

This team will get killed on rebounds. They just sacrificed their depth for a superstar. What a joke. All my respect for KD have now gone straight in the toilet bowl.

KD's a pretty good rebounder. He led OKC in that category last season at 8.2 per game.

Lots of haters on this board. Its not like he is going to the Lakers.

People are more angry that he ruined the league. I never imagined this type of stuff could happen. Now it's happenning before my eyes.

Its like a player crying over a foul call. Whats done is done. We have to adapt to the new NBA or fall to the waste side.

This.  Now building through the draft will be more important than ever.  I know a team with lots of draft picks...

Durant even talked publicly about that a few days ago. The Silicon Valley connections.

Will he play 5 most of the time? Because if he is, better prepared to be abused by likes of Cousins and Drummond.

No he doesn't.  We wouldn't have had the cap room in the first place.  We would have had to trade Crowder, Bradley, and #3 to make it work salary wise.  Which is what Chicago was asking for, but that's a lot of talent to get up.

Now Jaylen Brown can become our next superstar.  He's got the talent.

Mavs already said they'd offer him max offer sheet.

Dallas were signing Barnes to a max deal offer sheet if Durant went to GSW.
