Yea you guys grow the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. up. This is the problem on this board people are way to unrealistic.  The guy wants a title.  He's in his prime it's his choice.  We'd be laughing at everyone else if he signed with us.

That's a bummer. I liked GSW and Durant but I can't route for a super team so now I have to hate on them.  >:(

I hope all the other teams force the Warriors to have to buy out players on their team rather than allow them to trade them to make the Durant deal happen

We don't need a player with such a weak mentality ::)

Just a bummer that the GSW will dominate the NBA the next couple of years....

What a sell-out. We lost a superstar today.

Awful.

How are they going to make up for losing Bogut, Iggy, Barnes, etc?

I am not convinced they will have a cakewalk to a championship.  This is a dumb decision.

Let's tank.

I'm pretty sure it's tongue in cheek but tanking would be pointless this year as we're swapping picks with Brooklyn.

...from every perspective other than having the best chance to win a ring right away, this is the worst decision Durant could make.  But I guess if you have the chance to be part of Steph Curry's legacy you have to seize it.
I'm not convinced given the moves they have to make to fit him under the cap.

Choose any two players in the NBA we could potentially sign. Any two. Getting both while maintaining most of our current roster would not make us realistic contenders against this team.

Obviously there's no incentive to tank this season, but in the summer of 18 we should now seriously consider stripping down the roster before having to tie Bradley and Thomas down to long term contracts. There's no point.

A buyout wouldn't clear the cap hold, so if no one trades for Bogut or Iggy they'll be stuck (KD would have to take a pay cut).  There's no way to get all 29 teams to cooperate, though
I'm bitter.

And the jilted lover name calling begins.  Grow up people!

Can't speak for anyone else but I'd be just as disappointed in Durant if we were never under consideration.  This is LeBron to Miami x10.  Joining a 73 win team that's already won a chip is ring-chasing and taking the easy way out at the most extreme we'll ever see it.

Exactly. This has been the sentiment the entire time on this blog. There wouldn't be this reaction if he went back to OKC. There'd be disappoint, but it would make sense. GS doesn't make sense since this will ultimately ruin his perception in the league as a top-3 player.

Wow.

More disappointed that he chose there than if he returned to thunder.

I knew he wasn't coming here so don't put me in that box! I'm mad because he did what old people do but even worse. Team was 1 minute from b2b champ and won 73. Not a competitor. All that talk and he's worse than LBJ (who wasn't bad for leaving IMO but the circus was blegh)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

If there is one, "ensuring that nobody else will win a title for the next five years" just may be it.

Their bench will be paper thin. It'll be laughable when they're on the court, but who needs a bench when you have that starting lineup? Holy moly. Just absurd.
