Disappointed because sports wise (i.e making your own legacy and being the star of a contending team) Boston made more sense than Golden State. It's the easy way out. I just hope the Warriors won't dominate for years to come but it's hard to see anything else happening now if they stay injury free.

I would have respected any other decision, but the 73 win team that knocked you out of the playoffs? What the [heck], KD?

Yep! Would've been disappointed in him going to OKC over Boston, but this is an absolute cop-out, coward move by KD. He deserves all of the criticism that he's going to get for this. Somebody needs to combine his older tweet about the Heat with his Player's Tribune cover. What an absolute joke of a decision.

Basically a one year deal to try and buy a title
Going to be doing this again next season

It's a one year deal because he stands to make WAY more by signing long term next year.  He's not going to go through this again next year
I'm bitter.

It's not even about name calling because people are bitter. This is a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. move by a player who a lot of people respected. It's funny because if Curry wasn't vastly underpaid this move wouldn't have ever happened. He took the easy way out. Good for him I guess.

I could  have bet the farm on KD to Boston. Glad I did not.

Stay Classy Celtic fans. It is just one player.

CELTIC PRIDE !!!!!!

The man did what he believes is best for him.

GSW played defense because even they knew that Durant to Boston would cost them championships in the future.

How on earth does Jerry West gets his way all the time...im so p---ed at KD. He could have just stayed with OKC and do 1+1 but no..he wants the short cut to atitle.
I hope the Warriors dont win anything. >:( >:(

And the jilted lover name calling begins.  Grow up people!

Can't speak for anyone else but I'd be just as disappointed in Durant if we were never under consideration.  This is LeBron to Miami x10.  Joining a 73 win team that's already won a chip is ring-chasing and taking the easy way out at the most extreme we'll ever see it.

"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em."  What a loser.

His decision (take away the 1hr tv hoopla) is actually worse than Lebron's.  At least Lebron went to a team that couldn't win without him.  Golden State is a team that has done it and even came out having had one of the best season in the history of the game.  And one of the team they ousted come playoffs was your team, Durant.

Weak, spineless, p***y.

Go get Okafor, Danny.  C'mon.

Well, that sucks. Boston is just going to have to play to win while developing the future young stars(Smart, Brown and the next two years Nets picks) and hope with some cap space we might entice a Blake Griffin or Paul George next year.

Kevin Durant, you are a moron. You will forever be regarded as a second fiddle in GSW, and only help to perpetuate Curry's greatness and not yours. You aren't growing as a man. You are ring chasing

I don't hate him, but I have far less respect for this than I would have if he'd stayed at OKC or even gone to Washington. This is taking the easy way out.

Pressure to win will be extraordinary.  Never before has a team been assembled with expectations like this.  Will be an interesting season next year in any event.  Would rather Celtics keep it classy cause if they dont win it all he will be back on the market next summer.

Bahahahahahaha.

Who needs a regular season or any playoffs prior to the Finals?

This is now a consolation prize league for everybody but the Warriors and Cavs.

So Harrison Barnes goes to Dallas now. I wonder where Bogut will go.

We might be able to simply trade for Bogut with cap space while keeping Amir. Danny should definitely do that.
