Well, Danny, maybe you should've made a move one way or the other at the draft. If we get neither Horford nor Durant, then this is just another failed year of you to truly define what direction we're moving in.
Either use our assets to trade for a star or use some of our actual players to move up in the draft or get another high draft pick to build around and go young. With the contracts the Lakers gave out this summer, are you telling me that we couldn't have got the number two pick and even something like Russell if we offered up some of our assets like IT, Crowder, and Bradley? That would've made the Lakers a more attractive free agent destination, and they would've got better players for cheaper.
But, nope, now if we strike out again we're stuck in limbo for another year neither fully rebuilding nor contending, and we'll ultimately end up first round fodder, again..
