Bahamas.

Funny how Dunn is now at 5th pick...too much Dunn, Dunn, Dunn and of course Celtics and Suns don't pick him..Bender talk was quiet as a mouse over past week...Knew he was gonna get snagged no later than 5...

Danny puts a lot of power in the personal workouts...No doubt Brown won him over there in his killer workout...Bender must have laid a big egg this past Tuesday in Boston...
most of the stuff you read heading into the draft is nonsense.  The Dunn as consensus 3rd best player narrative happened out of nowhere.  A week ago it was established that it was a crap shoot.

No one was talking about Dunn as the third pick or the third best player a week or so ago.  He just suddenly shot up.

I'm happy we took Brown.  Dunn averaged almost as many turnovers as points when he was Brown's age.  Brown is going to get better.  His game is raw.  In games I watched him play late in the season, the commentators were raving about how much he improved during the season.  He has good size and is an explosive athlete.  His 77 3 pointers made in his workout is a nice sign.
Brown is a good pick I believe. Now let's see how it all turns out in 2-3 years. Patience - it's what CB is famous for. :)

Ha ha much of this board reminds me of last years pick of rozier.  Most of us were wrong then.

As a rookie do you have the choice not to wear flat rim cap?

The only .....

Good thing about the Brown pick.....

Is I have a hunch ......

It was 95 % CBS  ....pick.....

CBS was good at getting talent in college ....with a small school.........

I'm betting this pick has Stevens signature ALL over it. I think Ainge wanted to make CBS happy

That said ......I'm still depressed

Now that I've gotten over the disappointment of no big trades, I'm feeling pretty good. Huge upside for this guy. There's a long night to go.

I'll be rooting for Hield. Sounds like an all-around good guy.

Mike

Dude on Twitter points this out:

"Last 8 Celtics first round picks:

MarShon Brooks
Jared Sullinger
Fab Melo
Kelly Olynyk
Marcus Smart
James Young
Terry Rozier
R.J. Hunter"

Meh

To be fair, only Smart and Brown have been actual decent picks early in the draft. The others have been mostly non-lottery.
I don't think it was meant to be fair. More born of frustration I think.

CHRISS IS FALLING TO 8 OR LATER! GET HIM, DANNY! YOU MIGHT AS WELL TAKE ANOTHER PROJECT WITH THE ONE YOU TOOK AT 3!
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
