Ainge is really a double agent for the Lakers

His boss is Mitch

Lol, TP.  Now we know why Danny passed on Marc Gasol in 2007 (sarcasm)...;D.

I've calmed down....

Brown IS 3 years younger then Dunn---without the injuries...so, we'll see.

We already have Young as a huge bust ......I hope this guy is not Young 2.0

Quote
Bender must have laid a big egg this past Tuesday in Boston...

His main strengths are mystery and potential.

I am hoping we trade back into the lottery with our extra picks.

As a rookie do you have the choice not to wear flat rim cap?

IF Noel was on the table and Ainge passed, there is no hope for this Franchise. None.

All you pink hats and Kool Aid drinkers remember this,

Last season vs .500 or better Teams 19 24

Last Season vs Teams who scored more than 100 points in the game  14 31

Last 2 Playoff seasons vs Weak East  2 8

Terrible Strategy. I can't wait for Ainge tell us the value for the #3 was not there in trade and you take a project instead!

I'll tell you what, Jaylen Brown will be super fun to use in NBA 2k.

At least until they nuke his offensive ratings after he shoots 38% for his rookie season.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I absolutely loved this pick, I always wanted an athletic wing. Whether you like him or not, we gotta trust Ainge. Who knows, as much as I like him, maybe Ainge is still working on pulling off a big trade.
I think Jaylen Brown is Danny's pick. I dont think he picked up Brown to trade him. I think it got to the point where people were trying to rip off the Celfics so they just drafted their guy. Brown is here to stay

PEOPLE, we aren't mad that Danny missed on Dunn, the player. We are mad because Chicago was entertaining Crowder/Bradley (one of) and Dunn for BUTLER!!

But obviously that wasn't on the table or Butler would be getting a plane ticket for Boston!!

I (and others) literally copy and pasted tweets from Chicago's best beat writer. Crowder and Dunn was what Chicago wanted. Danny said he wanted to trade Avery. Ended up with nothing
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

C'MON! Get Sacramento's pick and pick Chriss, or try and trade 16 and Rozier for Noel! Obviously his trade value isn't all that high right now, and they're not going to pay him next summer!

Composite Jaylen Brown critique from article (see thread: http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=85434.0)

Jaylen Brown, 6'7" freshman forward, California: "Biggest mystery in the draft. What does he do? He's an average ballhandler. He's a below average shooter. In AAU and college he played bully ball, but that doesn't translate to the NBA. Little bit of a funky personality. I don't know that anybody really knows what makes that kid tick. His basketball IQ is lacking. Special physical specimen and athlete. The trouble is when you make him go multiple directions. His last month and a half was awful. Makes me really nervous."

Man.  Sucks the Suns could get Chriss.  I wanted to trade up for him.  Maybe we can for Sabonis or something.

Yep, just another missed freaking opportunity by Danny just like at the deadline. He's screwed us twice now by not giving up Crowder for Butler. Crowder is not freaking untouchable like Danny apparently thinks.

Bogdan and 13 from Suns to kings for 8. The pick is Chriss
