I feel that Simmons just makes the game look easy.  The one big question is his ability to develop a jump shot.  That could become a big weakness in a game where the 3-ball is increasingly valuable the way modern teams play; the Celtics especially need to add a big time shooter to the lineup.

Thon Makker just backed out of the 5 on 5 at the combine....you would think that he would really help himself by playing...

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

I'm just expecting us to get 6... that way if we do better I'll be happy regardless!

It's also easy to find comfort in the fact that picks 4-6 in this draft are of virtually equal value.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

If this isn't a red flag, then I don't know what is. He (and his reps) know he would have been exposed.

Blake's jumper is half decent now. Maybe Ben can develop ones similar to Blake.

Or really hurt himself by playing.

I think he needs to preserve as much mystery and intrigue as possible.

He'll simply be outmuscled by everyone and it will drop his stock even more than not attending.
He's only played high scool ball vs midgets and is a veeeeerrry ling term project.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

He kind of seems like the Sudanese/Australian/Canadian version of Yi Jianlin to me.  There is lots of hype around the player driven off of limited footage and games, but in terms of actual basketball ability their very well may be none present.  I wouldn't want to spend a first round pick on Maker.

Poeltl improved his stock. So did Qi. Ellenson is taller than I expected. Skal is a stick, only 218. So is Brice Johnson at only 208. Solid wingspan for Valentine. Benti should rise on mocks. Just over 6-8, but with a wingspan over 7-1, reminds me a lot of Millsap.

Let's not stress the Lottery.  While it would be great to land 1 or 2.

Bender, Murray, Hield, Dunn, Ellison,  will be available with the Celtics pick.

If we are 3, then who are we taking?
One of these guys, according to multiple mock draft boards, depending what you are viewing.

All provide different pieces to the puzzle.

What does make a top 3 pick fun is the idea of what Danny might do with it.

But if we landed 1 or 2, do you really want to see Danny trade that pick?
