Read that last line again. One more time.

So what should we talk about first?

Simmons or Ingram if we land the first pick?

I think I still lean Simmons.  Clearly he should have gone overseas like Mudiay, but he didn't and his game hurt.

I figured some people may want to see what the chances were of landing a top 3 pick so I have added those percentages to each team. In case people were wondering, our chances of landing in the top 2 are 31.3%. Let's hope for the best!

Good work.  By the numbers, isn't it also true that the single most likely outcome is #4?

Nope, even worse: 5th.

Ugghh! This is going to be a long week. At least we can root for the Spurs all this week to make the time go a bit faster  ;)

At least it will be a well-attended combine. We can dork out about measurements tomorrow

Anyone else skipping the lottery?

I can't stand watching the draft order hoping no team falls out of order. It's too much stress for me.

How about everyone tell us your lottery draft rituals. Anyone superstitious?

2014 I kept running the simulator everyday, ending it on a high note (getting top 2). We ended up 6th (but I love Marcus so all good).

This year I'm running simulator everyday and ending on a low note, ending it when we fall out of top 3 and lakers keep their pick. Hopefully it translates to a top 2 pick and lakers losing their pick
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I just hate the bewildered feeling like the year we got the 5th pick/Jeff Green..I literally felt stunned when I saw the Celts come up...I was so superstitious that year and the last few. I am going to expect the worst and try and go with the flow this year and not stress.  I want to see the order go as planned through the 6th pick and then the 5th pick see the Lakers name called before us which would mean it would be highly likely we moved up at that point

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
So what should we talk about first?

Which Ping-Pong balls are the luckiest/unluckiest.

Despite the cult-like chanting of the many posters here who have drunk the Kool-Aid on 6, it's painfully obvious 8 is the horse to bet on.  Ghost of Toine!

I'd take Simmons over Ingram. Simmons is like at taller more athletic Draymond Green.  Can be a 20point 12rebound 7assist guy in his prime which is crazy. I don't think Ingram is quick and explosive enough to be an elite scorer.
