You wanna give stars a call fine.  But don't penalize players for working hard.  These guys are out there scrapping to stay in this and every chance the refs cut their nuts off. It's beyond disgusting year in and year out.  Be nice to just watch a basketball game instead of th ref show

Agreed very disappointed with the refs. Look good chance we'd still be losing in a fairly refed game so I'm not going to say it all comes down to that but you couldn't have said it better... the Spurs don't need the help I mean come on...

The obvious next move is to start IT. Amir needs more time. We should experiment with RJ. Without making one or more of those adjustments, we won't give ourselves a chance to win tougher games. Team needs scoring and AJ's defense.

Shocker: the Celts really lack shooting, rebounding, and inside scoring.

Well Smart is finally becoming aggressive so that's the one positive I'm taking from that half. Everything else was bad... and it's just painful to know when our 5'9 best player can't hit the broad side of a barn we have literally zero offense...

Yep.  Thomas is the only guy on offense who scares the other team.  When IT is struggling to hit shots, the other team is happy to let Crowder, Bradley, Sullinger etc bomb away, and that's how we end up shooting 28% for the half.

I'll be honest though part of why I thought this would be a decent season was that I really thought Lee would still be able to produce consistently... but he looks like a shell of his former self... so yeah this is what we have now...

Agreed ....I fell for it too.......I'm really let down ....no wonder Warriors dumped him.....he an't much improvement over Bass...if at all

Everything else is pretty close in number outside of us shooting 8% compared to their 27% on threes.

In essence, if we had guys who could get to the line and / or hit an open shot, we'd be competitive in this game.

I'm noticing that people had expectations for Lee that he was never really suited to meet.

He's a guy who can score when there's spacing around him, but he's never been a great shooter or post-up guy so expecting him to put up points when he's surrounded by a bunch of mediocre scorers is setting him up to fail.

Lee's role on this team is to rebound, facilitate, occasionally attack when he's got a good matchup, and act as a leader on the floor.

He's doing okay in that role so far.  The Celts need other guys to step up.

TP. There's absolutely no reason why Lee should be having 15 minutes and JOhnson only 10 minutes. Start IT with Smart in the backcourt, and at least put Johnson in there with Lee.

I want to see Smart play as aggressively on offense as he did in the 2nd quarter in the 2nd half... even if we lose that'd be a good sign. He needs to start looking for his shot more in that first unit

I mean, really, we've defended them pretty well, and a lot of it has just been us missing shots, even wide-open ones. We need more Danny Green and Patty Mills 3 and D types than Jae Crowder D-only types.

jerebko should have played more, other than smart he has been one positive this half.
embarecing performance so far, CBS has to find a good line up for the second half.
look for IT4 to get going, 1 for 9 yikes.

anyone can have bad shooting halves/nights, but I'm worried about what I always am his defense.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Starting him is useless then because he can't defend, and we don't really having a scoring big to put next to him unless we start Sully with him. Zeller has been worse than Lee.
