So, tonight is a big NBA night for us with several relevant games that affect us or our draft picks. A perfect night tonight would be the following:

Denver beats Charlotte (helps our playoff positioning)
Detroit beats Brooklyn (moves our Brooklyn draft pick into a tie for the third worst record)
OKC beats Indiana (helps our playoff positioning by keeping Indy below us)
Houston beats Atlanta (both helps our playoff positioning and helps our Dallas draft pick)
Cleveland beats Miami (helps our playoff positioning)
Utah beats Chicago (helps our Dallas draft pick by Utah's record tying Dallas' record for last playoff spot)

I think at least four games will work out for us tonight (Detroit wins, OKC wins, Cleveland wins, and Utah wins) with the other two games being toss-ups.

The Golden State/San Antonio game will also be a good one to watch.

One of them will have a screw up and it's probably the Brooklyn game.
And Warriors will demolish the Spurs in San Antonio. No chance those old-timers stand a chance against the Splash Brothers and that dynamic offense.
just over 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of the SA GSW game and spurs up 55-50. a lot of time left to go, but clearly GSW left their "slash brothers and that dynamic offense" out in the bus tonight. ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So the Denver, Detroit, and OKC games ended in our favor, but the Houston, Cleveland, and Utah games didn't.

Edit: Utah has made this a game again.

Yep, with both Atlanta and Miami winning tonight against teams that more than likely should've beat them (more Cleveland than Houston), it's going to be really difficult to catch Miami for the three seed now. They have a relatively easy schedule the rest of the way, but Atlanta has a fairly difficult schedule remaining. It would work out the best for us if we snuck into the third seed and Miami got fourth or fifth, because I think they have a legitimate shot to knock off Cleveland, as evidenced tonight. Also, we have a much better chance against Miami than Cleveland or even Toronto, because we matchup very, very well with Miami.

It will be an absolute shame if we don't get to see Golden State versus San Antonio in the Western Conference Finals. They should do away with the conferences and seed the playoffs according to overall record. It's no doubt that Golden State should be playing San Antonio for the NBA title rather than one of them playing whoever comes out of the East.

EDIT: San Antonio may have won, too, but the fact that it still came down to the wire with Curry going 1-15 from behind the arc is a scary fact for San Antonio. He's not going to do that for four out of seven games.

Lol well dang the Splash Brothers were just off after a back2back game and the team still managed to keep it close with SAS. And they had no Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut  :P

Warriors should pick them apart in the playoffs in a 7-game series, that is, if the Spurs ever get that far ;D ;D ;D

Is there any chance TC asks for a buyout?
He would be terrific upgrade for us at the C for the postseason.

If he got a buyout at this point he wouldn't be playoff eligible this season.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
If you want to see a good game, watch the Spurs @ Charlotte.
Watch the whole game ;)

On a side note, the Hornets have been one of the best 4 teams in the NBA post All Star break after acquiring Courtney Lee.

Does anyone think that Jimmy Butler came back too soon from his knee injury?

Should Houston tank? What's the point of playing Harden the most minutes in the NBA to be swept by San Antonio or Golden State?

Lol. Rodney Hood has 30 in the first half against the Lakers, who as a team have 37.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

The point is keeping the Celtics pick from Dallas in the lottery.

Seriously though, that team is not getting any better. Blow it up now, keep your pick..

I wonder if the Celtics will go after Jimmy Butler given Chicago's freefall......
