Dunno why people scoffed when I said I'd gladly trade Marcus smart for d'angelo Russell.   Russell is going to be so much better than him.   Starting to show what he's capable of.  22+ three games in a row.  39 points tonight with 8 threes.   Star potential right there.

In a vaccuum yeah. But if we get both Horford and Durant for example Smart would help us better than Russell.
Not necessarily.  It depends how big the defensive gap truly will be long-term.  People used to tell me they'd never trade Rajon Rondo for Steph Curry, because Rondo was an elite defender.   As strange as seems, it's almost like we all bought into the "defense wins championships" mantra and somehow started underrating offense.   Russell looks like he'll be significantly better offensively than Smart.

Doesn't matter, though.  There was never a scenario where Smart for Russell was conceivable.

Hey Fred, you may want to reconsider how many minutes you're giving Butler.  Maybe 34 in his first game back wasn't the best idea.

So the Warriors lost to the Lakers yesterday and now the Cleveland Cavaliers are losing to Memphis when Memphis' starters are all sitting?  Is there some kind of mafia ring that has infiltrated the NBA for gambling purposes?

Wow, the Cavs announcers sure are horrible. I feel bad for anyone that has to sit through a celtics home game.

nah lol, I am actually going to start watching the away team feed for Celtics home games. Tommy does not provide any insight into the game, complains about every call, and sits there for multiple plays eating candy in silence.

Tommy complains about every call but his insights are mostly right on.

His only insight is to take the ball to the rim, and feed Zeller the ball when he runs. When I refer to insights, I'm talking about the observations that Scal makes, like the time when he explained Piston Offense.

They should take away those Tommy points of yours lol
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I enjoyed Tommy the most when he would geek out whenever Walter McCarty came into the game.

Waltah!!!

Lakers big 3 (Randle, Clarkson, Russell) has combined for like 60 pts of their 79 points vs Orlando. And they're winning!

Did anyone else see Lillard drop this track after his All-Star game snub? He's actually pretty decent, especially the one they included above. I've listened to several of his tracks, and I actually like a lot of it.

Westbrook is about to have a 25/20/10 triple double. 2 rebounds and 2 assists away. Wow.

Randle. No thanks.

Russell probably.

Not a fan that he has a standing three point shot tho. Seems to still get it off.
