I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Drama in Los Angeles. What's new?

A punk move by both. Russell shouldn't ever do that. Nor should swaggy p be meeting teenagers given his engagement to Iggy.

We hate on Marcus and some of us really want Russell, but these things have to be factors too. Character off the court is very important too. Luckily we have a grade A group of guys

Some more late night tidbits:

Of note:

Quote
Indeed, no one is untouchable. The palace intrigue that surrounded Butler and Hoiberg prompted several teams to inquire about Butler’s availability at the trade deadline. Though they were rebuffed, several rival executives told The Vertical they intend to try again. Boston was among the teams trying to pry away Butler in February, and several executives point to Orlando, with its treasure trove of young players and defensive-minded head coach, as a team to watch closely in the pursuit of Butler.

Oh my god they're going to have to trade him.  That's really bad for team chemistry, especially if your PG does that!  Wow.  Who is the most goody two shoes team in the league?  The Spurs?  The Jazz?  Where does he go?

It's very disappointing for sure. He's supposed to be their next guy, their next leader, if you will, after Kobe. (I know there's differing opinions on Kobe here, some might not see him as a leader, but I'm talking from the LA standpoint).

In think that's an overreaction

I just hope that Kobe has to make a statement on it at some point  :police:

I think Russell hates this situation and I don't blame him.  The team is a joke.  It's a Kobe farewell circus.  They have more incentive to tank than any team in the league.  He's got a coach intentionally trying to lose games and stunting his development.   It would be interesting if they considered trading him... I'm sure Philly would entertain swapping one of their Centers for him.  They loved Russell before the draft and the kid has shown real star potential.   Maybe an Okafor/Russell swap would make sense for both teams.   Both of those guys seem to hate their situations... both teams will likely be making changes this Summer.  Maybe a fresh start for both would be beneficial for all.

What a disastrous season for Chicago.  This was a team that was supposed to be among the top teams in the East.  They got blown out by a majorly shorthanded Memphis team tonight, and their playoff hopes are extremely bleak.

Found this over at Blog-A-Bull:

Hilarious, but true.  Thibs may have indeed run his players into the ground, but he was among the better head coaches in the NBA - among the best in my opinion, even if their playoff run last year was disappointing.

Wow, Minny just got effed over big time in the last minutes of a three point game. They overturned a blocking fall on Curry and called it a charge on Towns, which would've been an and-1 three point play. He was outside of the restricted zone, but he was absolutely moving into Towns. It was a blocking foul regardless of where his feet were. And guess who the ref was - the horrible lady ref that we had the other night lol Even Webber was saying that's the worst overturned call he's ever seen. Horrible.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
