Minny looking good against Dallas so far. This could be a really good day for the Celtics.

Nets loss
Dallas loss (possibly)
Phoenix or Utah win (win-win situation)
Houston win (possibly)
Charlotte loss (likely)
Boston win (likely)

I think Minny will win this one. Dallas won't be able to stop Wiggins.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

Both the Dallas-Minny game and the Houston-OKC game are slipping away.  Huge if both go the wrong way.  Dallas will be up 2 games on Houston.

Gigantic last 6 minutes right now in Houston for the Dallas pick.  Somehow Houston has to take this one, but down 5.

I'm afraid if Houston doesn't win today, then they're not going to make the playoffs and catch Dallas, especially with Minny losing to Dallas today.

Dallas is going to win but, after the Nets news, I'm having a hard time being too upset about it.

The pick isn't doomed. But it just mean the Houston/Dallas game will likely decide whether the pick could become lottery. Houston has a soft schedule down the stretch, and Dallas will face LAC, Utah and San Antonio to close things out.

I'm glad Houston are missing the playoffs considering they lost to Brooklyn twice.

Luckily, James "Streetball" Harden is coming up big for them in the final minutes.

I'm such a huge fan of Clint Capela. I have no idea why we wasted our pick on Young when Capela was still on the board. Ridiculous. Capela, Hood, or Harris would all be much better than Young.

Huge win by Houston.  Dallas lottery still in play.

I'm not - it could be the difference between us picking 12 or 16.

Really happy to see Houston finally win a close game...and against a team they really shouldn't beaten. Hopefully they can push Dallas back out of the playoff picture (along with Utah).

Yep, major win by Houston today, especially against one of their tougher opponents.

Now I'm really torn on the Utah/Phoenix game. Either way it is a win, but I HIGHLY doubt that Brooklyn wins another game this season. So we need just two Phoenix wins to have sole possession of the third worst record/third best odds in lottery. Even tying them would be much better than being solely in fourth place.

In a tie for third, do we get equal ping-pong balls and then coin flip for who gets higher position if neither wins the lottery?

Yes, it at least improves our chances.
