Fun last minute of the game tho.

Ignoring what I said earlier, the Bulls winning might have been better, since they are in danger of falling out of the playoff race altogether.  Rockets should be in the chase until the very end, especially if they beat the Mavs next week.

Who would have thought that the most important game to our draft might turn out to be Dallas vs. Utah? Never would have guessed that one.

Mike

Why do you say that? I don't see that. The Brooklyn pick is more important to the C's future than anything right now.

That's true, but I think the original statement highlights how fun (and stressful?) this season has been.  Having other teams' first rounders is awesome.  I can't recall the last time I've followed the outcomes of games so closely.

This. :)

Rockets suck. How many times have they screwed our draft picks this year?

I hate Houston. I'm never using oil again.

Has the Wes Mathews gamble payed off this season? Looks like Dallas layed an egg with that contract

He's been better lately, but yeah, I would say he's playing beneath his contract overall.  I won't start to feel bad for them after the lottery, though! I will always love them for taking down LeBron that one time

With him coming off achillies surgery he wasn't supposed to be 100% this season (he originally wasn't supposed to come back until Christmas). I'm going to give him a pass until next year.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Looks like this one is once again not going our way - tough couple of days for Cs fans. It sure would have been nice to see Houston finish off those big leads and Barea not turn into Michael Jordan.

what do we have to do to get mavs to lose? I told you, they win all the time as long as dirk is healthy. they aren't really good or anything but dang man they always find a way.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm about ready to give up on the dream of us getting a 2nd lottery pick. We still should be able to get a solid pick at 16.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Such a crazy year. Dallas is in 7th seed right now but they're tied with Utah and only a game ahead of Houston so it's all still up in the air. But one loss can be the difference between Dallas getting the 16th pick and the 13th (or even 12th, if Washington wins some games down the strech) pick. Anything can happen.

and while it is almost always better to get the better draft pick, in this draft i am not sure there is a lot of difference in the talent from #10 to #16 or so. i think danny could either play it safe and get a solid role player for depth, or, swing for the fences on a high-risk/high-upside type of player.

either way would be fine with me.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Maybe I'm greedy lol but I still want pick 12. But it is looking very unlikely now that it happens  >:( we need a Minny win today and for teams like the Grizzlies and Clips (will be resting players) to come through. Not looking good.
