Will Sullinger even be in the league in two or three years?

I'm really starting to wonder.

Sure, Sully will be in the league.  He can ball, but he is gonna have to get in shape or accept he is a bench player.  I also think KO is a bench player right now.

Both of these guys have a lot to prove this year.  Maybe KO will become more assertive.  Maybe Sully will be able to play himself into shape.

I'm actually rooting for both of these guys, but they are what they are.  Solid, 3 out of 5 games.

Sullinger best bet would be traded to the clippers or another team that will "carve out" "limit" his role

CBS works better with players that when given the freedom still understand their limit and play to their strengths.  Like Mickey for example won't be launching threes anytime soon even though CBS would be probably ok with him shooting it if he was comfortable with the shot

Sullinger on the other hand went to the buffet and cleaned things up.

If his back starts to become a problem. But I believe he will, this is starting to become overly dramatic.

On paper, Sully.

In the real world, Olynyk by a mile.

Me too.  Michael Sweetney looked promising in the beginning also.

Sully has been a good team mate and soldier, so far.  He has not griped or complained about the situation, which I find a plus.   Has anyone mentioned this yet.

Agree.   He is not asking for a role he can't fill.  What's frustrating , is he has the skills to be a fringe star for years .

Sully is behind the eight ball..in maintaining his body and EVERYDAY conditioning.   Some people take a long time to ajust to their body maturing , energy not burnt off as fast .....still eating like you are 17 years old .

The sooner he makes being healthy a lifestyle the better off he ll be.

Gotta keep Sully around as his attitude is good as Celtic4ever mentioned. Also, if he gets himself into shape and starts balling he is the best rebounder on the team and at the very least a 13/8 guy. If he can get in shape and be that type of player and be the first big off the bench, you really have something not a lot of other teams have.

I think the ship Sully out rhetoric on this site has gotten out of control. He is still a player and if being in the doghouse lights a fire under his ass to get in shape during the season and/or to change his diet, we as Celtics fans will want him on this team this year.

We might not wNt him on the team next year or years after but this year, he is a good cheap valuable asset to have on your bench.

Is this a trick question? One of  them looks like an NBA player, the other one like a weekend warrior at the YMCA.

I mean, KO plays like a seven foot version of many guys I've seen playing at the local gym.

Sully is like the college football player who hasn't played organized basketball since high school but he gets by on being 50-100 pounds heavier than everybody else and having a surprisingly soft touch.

With most of your comments, it seems you're always talking about 'guys from the local gym' instead of the real Celtic roster or games.  I think you get them mixed up quite a bit.
