What do ppl think of the Clips?

I used to follow them more, but last season I found them so boring I almost gave up.

My impression is that it is Chris Paul who holds them together. Not only with his individual performance but by improving his team mates by a large margin (esp. Jordan). Given that next season he will be 31, the Clips window of opportunity per contention is starting to close.

The other thing is Griffin. He is an elite player but the Clips as they are don't really need him. Best thing would probably be to trade him, but recent experience suggests it is hard to get good value in trading a top-20 player on a max; and unlike Minny at the Love trade, Clips do not have the time to wait for a draft prospect to mature.

Your correct.  They could afford to lose Griffin.  But, not CP3 ......he is floor coach, player leader, scores as needed to win. .......Docs right arm.......when he missed a few games ...clippers were really bad ,  like would probably not make the playoffs bad.

Watching this game - Fournier's drive seems like something I can actually kind of emulate in my personal basketball game.  He goes really slow, but protects the ball and uses the other team's help defenders as a secondary screen in a way.  Fun watching a lot of the Magic guys play, they have some interesting pieces.

Wow, without Young and RHJ they look like a different team out there.  This is great, it's a 22 point game

Wow. 94-59.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Finally a game we don't need to sweat the outcome in the 4th.  Those [dang] Nets are the best bad team I've ever seen.  ;)

I think the best predictor of whether a given team can beat the Nets is whether or not you specifically think their guards can dramatically outplay the Nets' guards.  It explains the Cavs and Indy the other day, but makes me sad about our 2 losses to them.

The rest of their schedule looks like this:

@ Cavs - I would say this is a slam dunk Cavs revenge game win, but...
@ Knicks - 50/50 game
vs Pelicans - 60/40 Nets
@ Wizards - I say that the Wiz almost certainly win this and it's the safest game left
@ Hornets - The Hornets have their number, pretty safe win game
@ Pacers - Honestly, this is another 50/50.  It's good that it's at home for the Pacers
vs Wiz - Another pretty safe game
vs Raptors - The Raptors are probably going to play this game, but maybe they sit.  Let's say 50/50 to be conservative

So worst case, they get 5 more wins.

Suns are playing the Bucks, Pelicans, Kings and Rockets, which are all winnable.  The Wolves have 3 more wins than the Nets, with a game vs the Mavs, Rockets, Kings and 2 vs the Pelicans.

So it's basically down to the Suns and the Nets, with the Nets having a slightly harder schedule but are up one game on them.  It's down to the wire, boys.

It's 4 more wins.  Minny won yesterday.

Oh nice the site I used hasn't updated that.  So we're basically guaranteed at least top 4 at worst

I can't believe we have 2 more seasons of scrutinizing Nets and other teams results, schedules, transactions, injuries, etc, and fretting lol

It's fun though, and it helps our team. So I'm all for it

Serious kudos to the Orlando Magic, 4-0 against Brooklyn this year. It seems like so many other teams have frustrated us, including our own.

Only games that worry me are Pelicans, Knicks and a reating Raptors.
I think Indiana and Washington will be hungry for the 8th seed and the Cavs will kill them.
Even the Raptors bench with Cory Joseph running point with Terrence Ross, Patterson and Biyombo should beat the Nets.

Read that last line again. One more time.

Haha. Heres to a couple more epic Brooklyn season watch threads. 275 pages long is the biggest one season thread I've ever seen on here.
