Do the Nets have to send a representative to the lottery even though the pick is going to Boston?

Now that would be funny

lol I'd say the Celtics get the rep there.
I'd love to send Mike Gorman or Danny Ainge himself.

Hire Truth to the FO and send him.

Brooklyn are only better than Philly. They are so bad.

Watching Kobe and Johnson 'guard' each other was a real treat.

Are they better than Philly though?

So RHJ played well tonight. Do you think he'll make a difference for the Nets?

I actually do. He's looked great, particularly for a team that is so weak on defense. He's not going to make the kind of difference that Lopez does, but he's going to be a real player, as opposed to the dreck they throw out there most nights.

This team is really in trouble which is great for us. Don't know if anybody saw Jarett Jack's post game interview but he looked borderline depressed. That's exactly the kind of mindset we want these guys to have because it will only start to snowball from there.

Joe Johnson also looked pretty flabbergasted after the loss as well. With Lopez playing 38 minutes, and Jack and Johnson playing 37 minutes I don't think there's anyway they beat Milwaukee tonight in Milwaukee. Not to mention Milwaukee has won 3 straight and look to be trending upward. Then they have three games out west against Sacramento, Houston, and Golden State which should all be losses as well which would put them at 0-10. Don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for the Nets and it will eventually get to the point where it would be stupid to keep Brook Lopez just to try to win games to spurn us.

Depending on how you feel about Lopez's defense, Okafor's defense, and Noel's offense, I feel like you could argue that either of the Sixers' best 2 players are better than the Nets' best player. Maybe.

If you're not willing to go that far, I know for sure I'd rather have either Okafor or Noel than Lopez on my team going forward.

And so it begins....

Brook Lopez is dealing with a sore right foot and will not return to Saturday's game vs. the Bucks.

And it's that troubling right foot...

Here's some of the history regarding Lopez's injuries

ESPN
On Saturday, Brooklyn Nets All-Star center Brook Lopez had a third surgery on his right foot at Duke Medical Center in North Carolina. He broke it for the second time on Dec. 20. In addition to fixing the break, part of the procedure was what is known as a first metatarsal osteotomy.

Essentially, doctors moved bones around in Lopez's foot to better bear the weight. It's taking a human appendage that was not truly meant to carry a 7-foot body that runs miles every day and redesigning it.

The surgeries that Yao, Ilgauskas and Lopez have all had were slightly different. A specialist could probably explain in great detail the facets of the procedures and differences in the bones and the alignment of the heel and ankle, etc. But they also were all the same; three big men whose feet couldn't support their profession having their bones moved around to give them a chance. In Ilgauskas and Yao's case, it was a last chance.

Well they will probably put him on a minute restriction.
