In other news, Brooklyn just bought a new D-League team, the Long Island Nets.  Good investment.  They could probably send over half of their roster on over once its set up.  It will be like they haven't even left their mother team, because the actual Brooklyn Nets will be almost as bad, and they'll still be playing in Barclay's.

So RHJ played well tonight. Do you think he'll make a difference for the Nets?

Watching the Nets net the C's a lottery pick this year is going to be a wild wack ride and singlehandedly makes absorbing that Crash contract worthwhile. I don't see this team making the playoffs, so a lottery pick seems like a safe assumption to make!

Edit: what's the record for most consecutive losses to start the season? maybe they can reach it!

So good day to be a Celtics fan?

Boston winning in easy fashion.
Lakers beating Brooklyn helps us with our draft.
Lakers winning derails their tank job.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I wonder if we should have a Celticsblog gathering at the 2016 draft or lottery?

Could be a very special night for us diehards.

Some gold from the Nets forums for those who haven't seen them:

I was thinking we should buy up blocks of seats for games in BK in March and April....we may have to go prepared to brawl though....

Do the Nets have to send a representative to the lottery even though the pick is going to Boston?

Now that would be funny

If Billy King has been fired by then, the Celtics should hire him just to attend the lottery.

lol I'd say the Celtics get the rep there.
I'd love to send Mike Gorman or Danny Ainge himself.
