I don't know who I want to win... Should the Pistons win to help the pick? Or should the nets win to decrease detroits lead over us?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

what time do 'we' play Detroit tonight?

...or, you could say, what time do "we" play the Nets tonight?  ;)

I think I'm getting an ulcer, with these Nets games....Brook Lopez usually goes down with a foot injury---but he's playing his way to the All Star game this season...C'mon Brook-!

Stop with the injury wishing, the Nets are 10-26 with a healthy Lopez.

It doesn't have to be bad. Imagine this: Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young finally realize that they can reveal their forbidden love to an uncaring and ununderstanding world. They run off together on Valentine's Day to live their lives as goat farmers.

Isn't that much sweeter?

And a TP for the first person who recognizes the reference without looking it up.

I truly hope you're joking. If you're not, that's the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Yep the importance of the Nets pick trumps all, our standing doesn't mean much this year anyway. Go Pistons!

I'm a little surprised that Lopez has only played 13 minutes. Are they finally watching his minutes? Maybe keep him fresh for the fourth quarter, when they lose the ability to score?

First, sirens signaling the forum police on this comment.

Second, of course we are pulling for a Nets loss over whatever advantage we can gain in the standings. Unfortunately, if we just miss the playoffs, it won't be like last year with teams out west being much better (therefore giving us 11th or 12th), we will likely get 13th or 14th - not as awesome.

I actually hope we make the playoffs again. But the Nets pick is so crucial to our future that I'm rooting for it over rooting for our playoff standing this year. So while the Pistons are above us we need them to win

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
The Nets won't die in this one, and without Markieff out there, I'm really hoping the Pistons don't throw it away in the 4th like their last games vs these bums.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Tolliver and Baynes have been really solid for the Pistons.  Hilliard with timely contributions too.
