If Pelicans, Lakers, Blazers, Denver, Minnesota, etc. keep losing not much of a victory here. At least we didn't lose ground.

Luckily those teams all play each other a lot before the season is done, so they can't all lose always.

Tonight is big - A Nets loss can go a long way towards setting up negative momentum for them (and positive momentum for us).

If they lose to Detroit tonight, I think they could lose their next 6 (although they will likely steal 1, maybe even against the Spurs who may rest all of their players against the Nets lol).

Even if they go 1-5, they'd be 11-31 - good for our hopes. BUT, there is that stretch brought up in an earlier post where they have lots of easy games, so we need them to lose a lot before that...

I'm hoping for another low scoring game from the Nets.

I think I'm getting an ulcer, with these Nets games....Brook Lopez usually goes down with a foot injury---but he's playing his way to the All Star game this season...C'mon Brook-!
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Stop with the injury wishing, the Nets are 10-26 with a healthy Lopez.

Not wishing for an injury, but it would be great if he just couldn't take the losing anymore and needed to take an extended vacation. Go chill out, Brook - we don't mind.

Again even though Brook is playing well they are still the third worst record in the NBA and the second worst team in the east. It doesn't matter how well he plays when the rest of the team (except Young) is playing mediocre to terrible.

Actually, barring the two years that Lopez was injured for most of the season, it's his worst year. With only him and Young as viable threats, it's not tough to see why. Young is quick enough to get to offset the attention, but Lopez is probably being adversely affected by extra attention from the opposition.

I FEEL like I am finally getting my money's worth on League Pass. There are two teams I truly have an interest in. ONE, TO win its games, and the other to lose its games.

Nice to see Detroit is not taking us for granted.
