I'm fairly certain Brooklyn play better against good teams at this point. We need them to keep on meeting the Minnesota and Denvers.

add in a new orleans win and the celtics draft pick took a step forward.

Okay, now you can say things like that! ;)

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Or good teams look at their record and play down to them.

Pels gunna win too, so 1.5 game lead on them for 3rd worst record.

This Nets team might not keep many games close but man, when they do, they're not the Sixers. Let's just say that. They'd be a quality playoff team if Jack, Thad, and Brook had any help. Let's rejoice in their failing but respect that those guys are playing tough despite their record.

Hopefully they give up eventually. These close losses are stressful. The close wins are even more so.

This is turning out to be a pretty good night. There are four teams with 11 wins. Denver is winning, Milwaukee won and a third lost to New Orleans. We're now down to New Orleans and only two teams with 11 wins if Denver holds in against Phoenix (who has 12 wins, another "danger team" for us).

I think that's it. Chicago were on autopilot for most of that game a few days ago. Brooklyn have just enough talent to surprise good teams.

Forgot to add, Sacramento won. Only two other teams with 12 wins, and one of them is playing an 11-win team.

As much as Chicago should have won the other night, I'll gladly take 1-6 over their last 7 games.  They have a tough schedule in January.

Let's hope we start them off right at the beginning of the month!

Denver is bad but they have a certain amount of wins baked into their schedule thanks to their home court altitude. Should prevent them from slipping too far down.

can we get the nets playing atop of the empire state building? :D.
Edit: upon further review that is not a good idea.

I've watched just about every Nets game so far, and it pains me to say it but they are not a bad team at all. They've beaten Chicago, Boston, Houston twice, and should have beaten Golden State. Young and Lopez are constantly feasting in the paint. Their defense is really not bad at all, and they get good shooting from Larkin, Ellington, and Bogdanovic. The only silver lining is it looks like Joe Johnson is out there throwing games. He had like 5 airballs tonight. How is that even possible.
