Gasol and Rose just played awful down the stretch.  Just awful.

Looked like point shaving to me...

Man and it's not like the Nets are good, either.  They're trying to give away the game and just can't do it.

Wow. Bulls suck.

You almost have to go for a three in that instance, though, because if they come down and hit two more free throws, which Brooke did, then you're still in a two possession game. It doesn't make sense with five seconds left to go for a two there.

Shoulda kept Thibs.  He probably would've run a hard practice yesterday after losing a quad-OT game and then to the Knicks to prepare for this game.  It's not like the outcome would have been worse.  What a bad showing from the Bulls.

bulls has more top talent than most of the league. Pau may still be a top 10 PF, DRose is still a good player, Butler is EASILY top 5 (maybe be top) SG and a lot of good complementary talent! You lose to the nets???????????
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

At home, with Nets coming off a back to back. This is really ridiculous.

Guys, it's okay. I just played Tankathon's simulated lottery, and on my first try we got the first pick, Philly fell to 4th, and LA fell to 5th, giving their pick to Philly. So we're obviously still winning the lottery in the third position!  ;)

The Bulls may be a little meshugenah right now, but there's no way they should have lost that game.

The plus side, and it's against my nature to be optimistic, is that they are still three games behind the next worst team in the win column (I'll give New Orleans the benefit of the doubt that they will improve now that they are healthy.). That's something, I guess.

The bigger surprise to me is that they fired Thibbs, and somehow DIDN'T expect this result?

Thibbs to the Bulls was like Brad Stevens to the Celtics - he was the glue that held that entire team together.   Firing him was one of the top 5 or 10 stupidest things I've seen an NBA GM do in the past decade.

If I were the owner of that Bulls team, I'd be firing the GM and begging Thibbs to come back.

Nah.

Gasol is about 500 years old (and was soft at the best of times) and Rose is well...Rose.

It's about expected.

Gotta wonder whether Butler's comments were at all fueled by Thibs firing. I'd assume so...
