Minnesota is now only a game out from the 8th seed and giving us the 15th pick in the draft.  It would be great if that works out.

A lot can happen in trades to influence this outcome.   It's great that Minny is in the ball game -- I think this is all we could have hoped for.  With KG on this team and the great young players, I can't imagine Minny will purpousely tank.   Just a game out of the playoffs I expect Minny to make a move to improve if a possibility arises.

Now all we need is for New Orleans to not suck as bad.

Lakers and 76ers got a insurmountable defeat record .

Even if nets drop all their remaining games ........the above two .....are even less likely to WIN a game ....smh

The thing is, the Lakers actually have some talent on their roster. They just have chemistry problems, a terrible coach, and are blatantly tanking. Hibbert , Kobe, Randle, Russell, and Clarkson should be enough to win a few games now and then at the very least. What the heck happened to Hibbert? He should be much better utilized on that roster.

I second this. I thought the Lakers were going to be better than how they've turned out. Perhaps they realized if they tried this year, they'd give up their pick to the sixers so may as well throw the season away and try to swing for the fences again in free agency.

Good day for the Nets pick. Bucks and Twolves both win. That leaves only the kings with 10 wins and NO with 7.

The only thing that worries me is the Nets trading players to get better.

It's a worry, but who do they have that other teams will want to give up their own good players for?
They all suck except for Thad Young and they aren't getting a better player back if they trade him.
No one wants Joe Johnson's 23 million.

They are royally screwed.

What about Brook Lopez?

It looks like the Kings are going to win against the Raptors  in part of Rondo's double double.

He's their best player. Like others have said, sure, they can trade Lopez and/or Young. The best they can hope for back is a player or players who are at most as good as Lopez and/or Young, only with less familiarity with Brooklyn's system.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

I don't think that's a big issue. Anyone they bring in can learn to lose.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

It's an excellent night for the nets pick. Nets lose. NO wins and all remaining 10 win teams win. Good stuff!
