And the Nets officially have sole possession of the 3rd worst record in the NBA.

Woot! The distance between 3 and 4 should only grow from here on out, too.

when all is said and done and the final draft line up is set, i think the most probable position for the celtics' pick is 3-6, which is pretty good.  ;D

of course, the celtics might have a 15.6% chance at getting the first over all pick. so let's cross those fingers folks!
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We could actually have:
-A 15.6% chance with the Nets if they finish 3rd worst +
-Another 2.8% with Mavs pick if they finish 8th worst+
-Another 0.6% chance if Minny finishes 13th worst.

That's a 20% chance at the number one pick without the worst record :D

Not at all. If Dallas or Minny move up in the lottery, they would retain the picks, as they are protected.  It's not about where they finish, it's about where their picks finish, as to whether or not we get them.

actually we'd only have a shot at it with the Nets and C's picks.  Dallas is top 7 protected and Minny is top 12 protected -- after the lottery - not before.

Ah of course. duurrrrrr.
The beauty of unprotected picks is further highlighted. TP for pointing out the obvious!

Why does this thread keep falling off the first page, especially on game day? ;D

58-53 Nets at half. Bulls, honestly?

Nets have proven they can be competitive unlike say Philly or LA. However, they haven't shown that they can finish the job. Still got another half.

The Nets don't look like they're going away this 4th.  Joakim is hurt.  Chicago is overplaying Bobby Portis as an "experiment."  This is making me nervous

What the heck, Bulls. Send us Butler. Brad won't be soft on him!  ;)
