But why does there need to be 10 negative rondo comments for every one positive one on a flippin' celtics fan site? (and most of those positive one are from me!)
Go to the menu on the left and hit the Members button.

Then go to the right and in the grey bar and hit the word Posts.

Scroll down to BBallTim and select him. Go to his Profile Info area and click the button that says Show Posts.

There you will find close to one million good things said about Rondo. So, yeah, you aren't the only one on this site saying good things about Rondo.

So everyone who disagrees with the OP is a hater?

I thought there were rules against gratuitous labels on this board.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Rondo was part of something special at one time for the Celtics.

This part of his legacy I'll always appreciate and never forget.

It's almost as there was TWO different Rondos.

I admired the one when Perk was here the most

The Rondo that was traded .....I didn't know him

Sometimes he was red sometimes he was black. Most of the time I was lost on which Rondo would show up.

Had we not traded Perk, we may have squeaked out a second chip (should've been 3, if not for that game 7).

If Quis doesn't go down because of that freak Arenas collision, we don't trade Perk.

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic of not.

Ainge was right on that Perk trade in that Perk value dropped quickly after. If Green didn't have that heart condition it might have all been different. The other thing I don't know is how much trading Perk really hurt the team moral. I know it was reported a lot, but I don't remember any players saying that much, so it may have been blown out of proportion. In any event, I don't think MD, Perk or Green mattered enough change things. It was sad that we couldn't win 2 or 3, but after sucking for soooo long, the happiness I got in 08 overshadowed any pain for not winning it in the years after.

No sarcasm involved -- we traded Perkins because we had no wing depth after Quis's neck injury, and it completely destroyed the moral of the team: that and the fact that neither of the O'Neal Brothers were able to stay healthy totally affected the team on the court. If you think otherwise I would question how closely you were following the team at the time.

I'm sure you would question that dos, because everything you post is hate filled. But if I remember correctly we traded Perk around the deadline and Shaq went out(for the last time) near the end of the season. Point being when the trade was made, the idea was it was ok because we have Shaq and JO. It was really unlucky how it all turned out.

Well that's very pleasant of you to say. Are you going to tell me I'm a horrible fan, too?

And does that mean it's fair game for me to point out that you're a moron?

You are, however, the one who didn't/doesn't understand why we traded Perk. So there's that.

It's getting silly. I get that you don't like me. It's ok, it's the internet, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but do you need to get a little slam in on me after every post I make? Debate is fine, but name calling is a waste of everyones time.
