Good article on SacTown Royalty. I did actually learn a couple things...I never really noticed his variety in tip-off rituals...

TP for the story -- needs a copy editor, though.

Ahhhh!!! I see the Celticsblog tradition of fans making "Bring Back_______" threads continues.

My favorite "Bring Back Threads" were always the Antoine Walker ones. Those were just pure Celticsblog entertainment at its finest

I think we're all tired of talking about Rondo, one way or another.

He's on another team now.  We can enjoy watching YouTube highlights of his best days here, just like we can watch videos of Pierce, Garnett, Bird, and so on.

I'm a lot more interested in who the next standout player for the Celtics will be.

If you are so tired of it, why are you posting about it?

Because there has been a rash of posts lately about him.  Somehow I'm still surprised at emotion people can work up in defense of this guy even when he hasn't been on our team for months.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I'm patiently waiting for the first "Bring back Rajon Rondo AND Antoine Walker" thread.  The internet may peak on that fateful day.

Same here.  I just don't get it.  Maybe a lot of these posters are young and get more emotionally attached to certain players?  I can only imagine what I would've been like if there were message boards when I was 15.  Fiery threads defending Dino Radja's good name would've been a regular topic.

I appreciate what he did for us, but last year it was evident that he held us back.  That being said, I loved it when he took over games for us.

That and other threads like Dominque Wilkins is going to lead the league in scoring the year he came to the Celts.  X-Man is one of the best power forwards ever, & Pervis would be the whipping boy of all posters for sure...

I just celebrated my 46th birthday.

And I just love players who exhibit Celtics Pride and Celtics Basketball.

Rajon Rondo did those things, to me.

Haha TP+.  Pervis Ellison would've broke the internet.

"HOW many years is he under contract for?"

"What is going on with that hair?"

"OMG I think Perv is asleep on the bench"

Kevin Gamble is the future of this team!  And John Bagley's not so bad for a fat point guard!
