Wow.  That could end up being a big shot.

I hate it when the announcers keep harping on the injuries of players who are out there playing.

It's such a pet peeve of mine.  If you are in the game, then you are out there, and whatever you produce is what you produce.

Sure, some players are more banged up than others . . . and some you just hear about it more constantly.

Haha, exactly!
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

True, but it's obvious just by watching that Kyrie and Noah aren't right.  They both have their moments, but neither has played at an all-world level like they're capable.

Looks like the Cavs are probably going to beat the Bulls now that Pau is out.

With Pau, I felt the Bulls had a really good shot.  But without Pau playing, the Cavs can win this series just by having LeBron win every game virtually on his own.

Which is crazy, when the Bulls have two all-star level players in Rose and Butler.

It just shows the difference in impact of a true superstar, versus that second tier of really good players.

I just wish Chris Webber and everybody would stop making such a big deal out of it.  It's lame.  If you are playing, you don't get to talk about how hurt you are, even when you are.

Exactly.  You could put LeBron on any team in the league and that team would be a contender, simply because against all but the very best opponents, LeBron can win 2 or 3 games in a series more or less on his own.

To match that, you either have to have 3 or 4 All-Star caliber guys and a few really good roleplayers executing perfectly every night, or you have to have one or more of your second-tier stars step up and play like a superstar (e.g. "Playoff Rondo").

When I saw that live, it looked like an awful play by Gibson, but that leg lock by Dellavedova got the whole thing started.

I say; double techs and move on.

Gibson is getting dirty.  Don't blame Delladova.  The entire game is getting chippy.  Everybody is giving everybody a check/hit on the way by.  Love this type of game, keep letting these guys be physical!

I'd guess Gibson's physical play over the past few minutes got this whole thing started.

Looked like a whole lot of shoulder by Gibson on that screen.

In fairness to Webber, he's doing color commentary for a national broadcast, which means his primary audience is a casual one.  Given that context, it kind of makes sense to note that certain guys are playing hurt, because otherwise a casual viewer is going to think that's how those guys play normally.

Bogus, bogus, bogus.

Did the refs not see the replay?  He didn't even kick him.  He was trying to get his leg free.

Horrendous!!!

Haha officiating is so broken. Gibson gets a F2 for kicking Delladedova's legs off of him after he locked them up, but Perk lays out Crowder with an obvious shoulder meant for him and only gets an F1. Ridiculous. That's a technical not a flagrant foul.  ::)
