Anybody else having a hard time watching Rose play hero ball the last few minutes of each game. The bulls have been winning in spite of him instead of because of him.
I'm having a hard time watching just about every Bull play basketball in the last few minutes of the game. Heck, yesterday was the last 12 minutes of the game.
Noah looks like a shell of his former self these days which is sad.
Which would make it even more interesting to bring up the old "Is Noah the Big-Version of Rondo" discussion.
Minus the baggage?
Yeah, Noah's teammates hated him early in his career. He put that behind him to be the heart-and-soul of the team.
I wish Rondo could have channeled his passion like that.
Am I really the only one who thought Noah was just always overrated?
I mean, he was an above average player, but I think he benefitted a ton from being on such a great defensive team. Meanwhile, he had enough good offensive players on his team that he was getting a lot of garbage buckets just because people would leave him wide open to help (he was much closer to 09 Perkins with better rebounding than an all star).
True, he was a great defensive player, but no where near DPOY. At the same time, he's a constant offensive liability.
I think comparing him to Rondo is beyond sad. Rondo was never an offensive liability, at least he could hit layups!
