Anybody else having a hard time watching Rose play hero ball the last few minutes of each game.  The bulls have been winning in spite of him instead of because of him.

I'm having a hard time watching just about every Bull play basketball in the last few minutes of the game.  Heck, yesterday was the last 12 minutes of the game.

Noah looks like a shell of his former self these days which is sad.

Which would make it even more interesting to bring up the old "Is Noah the Big-Version of Rondo" discussion.

Minus the baggage?

Yeah, Noah's teammates hated him early in his career.  He put that behind him to be the heart-and-soul of the team.

I wish Rondo could have channeled his passion like that.

Am I really the only one who thought Noah was just always overrated?

I mean, he was an above average player, but I think he benefitted a ton from being on such a great defensive team.  Meanwhile, he had enough good offensive players on his team that he was getting a lot of garbage buckets just because people would leave him wide open to help (he was much closer to 09 Perkins with better rebounding than an all star).

True, he was a great defensive player, but no where near DPOY.  At the same time, he's a constant offensive liability.

I think comparing him to Rondo is beyond sad.  Rondo was never an offensive liability, at least he could hit layups!
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

What do we make of Beal?  Even as well as he has played in these playoffs, he has a sub-40% field goal percentage on 18.6 shots a game (roughly 2/6 from deep per game).

He is getting to the line a lot in the post-season, averaging nearly 6 attempts a game.

Beal has looked much better without John Wall. More involved offensively.

Noah was/is a much better player to have on the floor mostly because of the talent level at the position he plays at. Even at 50% he's still a top 10 center in the league. It's not as if he's Kendrick Perkins (who your post reminds me of).

I would take Noah over, say, Roy Hibbert, if I was trying to win a title in the next 2-3 years. Maybe not the next 5.

Teague looks so much more comfortable now that he doesn't have to face John Wall.

Wall had him locked down.

Budenholzer should've called timeout when Schroder was dribbling the air out of the ball.

Now it's time for PP to drain a 3.

Nice illegal pick by Nene to get Pierce a great look.  Just didn't go in.

If Wall were healthy, I honestly think Washington would be up 3-1 by now.

There's little doubt in my mind.  Atlanta looks like a different team than in the regular season.

What I make of Beal is that he's a good shooter, but he and Wall should not be gone to down the stretch to make their own shot in favor of Paul Pierce (or even the more experienced Gortat and Nene).

Ugh.  It's the Tony Allen jump-shooting show.

Warriors are switching too much on defense. Can't switch this often when the opposing team has big men like Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.

Those GSW bigs gotta stay home on their individual checks.

If he is healthy enough, David Lee could give GSW a big lift in 2nd unit against Koufos.

Well yeah, Hibbert has been vastly overrated as well.  Centers are easily overrated because there are so few good ones.

Noah isn't even a Center, he's a PF who has no range outside of 2 feet.  I think he would be an elite defender as a PF, but he's not as a C.  He's a Varejao or Perkins with significantly better rebounding.
