Noah's "box out" cracked me up.  The officiating on that last possession left a lot to be desired.

The officiating in the last several possessions left a lot to be desired.  To their credit (kinda) it looked less like bias than simple incompetence, but one would hope that they just make the correct calls in the first place.

also, the referees gave Cleveland way too much time on the shot clock? I think if they time it correctly James doesn't get the shot off, so whoever said it was Lebron + The NBA versus the Bulls seems to be right.

I mean, in that situation I think it's more that the NBA wants there to be enough time for somebody to get off a potential game-winning shot, regardless of what team is taking the shot.

I'd agree with that, but I still disagree with the premise.

Anybody else having a hard time watching Rose play hero ball the last few minutes of each game.  The bulls have been winning in spite of him instead of because of him.

I'm having a hard time watching just about every Bull play basketball in the last few minutes of the game.  Heck, yesterday was the last 12 minutes of the game.

Noah looks like a shell of his former self these days which is sad.

I've had a hard time watching this entire series.  The Cavs really aren't that good.  Too much iso-ball and reliance on the Queen.  Boring brand of basketball to watch.

The Bulls are even worse.  I usually don't mind ugly, "grind it out" basketball predicated on good defense, but the Bulls just take ugly to a new level.

I haven't looked at any statistics, but I'd imagine that the Celtics offense was more efficient and effective than the Bulls offense against the Cavs - and the Bulls have far superior talent on their roster.  Thibs and co. should be ashamed.

Not sure if this has been posted on C's Blog.  But for those of you who missed it, Pierce responds to Dennis Schroder's remark that Pierce's game winning shot was "lucky":

Hilarious stuff from the Truth.

Which would make it even more interesting to bring up the old "Is Noah the Big-Version of Rondo" discussion.

Does that make Luol Deng the wing version of Rondo?

Yeah, Noah's teammates hated him early in his career.  He put that behind him to be the heart-and-soul of the team.

I wish Rondo could have channeled his passion like that.

Al Horford matched up against Paul Pierce at PF. Horford doing an impressive job defending out on the perimeter against Pierce. I think Horford would be one of the best defensive PFs in the league if he played there full time.

His versatility defensively is very impressive.
