I usually get annoyed when posters do a 180 and vilify a player ten seconds after he's traded. That said: Good riddance Jeffrey. I don't think he's a bad person but he noticeably sulked the instant Rondo was dealt and that strikes me as unprofessional. I'm glad we got something for him, but I'm also glad he's gone. That said, I hope Memphis wins the West and he plays a role in that.
I posted this in the other thread. I'm not sure how the protections could work... they already have a heavily protected pick going to Denver. How do we get a 1st from them if they already have a heavily protected 1st going to Denver.Someone figure this out...Quote2015 first round draft pick to DenverMemphis' 1st round pick to Denver (via Cleveland) protected for selections 1-5 and 15-30 in 2015, 1-5 and 15-30 in 2016, 1-5 in 2017 and 1-5 in 2018 and unprotected in 2019 [Cleveland-Memphis, 1/22/2013; Cleveland-Denver, 1/7/2015]Read more at http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed#CsCrCAGY5EQ6A8Cc.99So how could they send us a 1st? It's would have to be some weird protection... something like this?2015 Draft: 1-5 = Memphis keeps it, 6-14 = Goes to Denver, 15-30 = goes to Boston Then depending on what happens it will have to roll over into 2016... so if it goes to Denver this year and maybe the rest of the protection they had given to Denver goes to us: Protected 1-5 and 15-30 in 2016, 1-5 in 2017 and 1-5 in 2018 and unprotected in 2019Does that make sense to anyone else or am I crazy?

Jeff Green had one of the worst plus and minus on and off court on the team.He always played like it was preseason.Mr. October.
I presume (hope) Prince gets instantly bought out?

Unless we send them back a first rounder (so a swap), we cannot get a first until two years after they send a pick to Denver.

His contract is too big ... too hard to trade for someone who is likely a 15mpg bench guy with low production. I think a buyout is all to hope for here. Like Jameer.
