This is a strange draft.
Full of players who could be good 3rd options or strong role players. I think some of the more intriguing prospects can be found later in the draft.

Personally, I like Sam Dekker with the Clippers pick, or a guy like Terran Petteway in the 2nd round.

The Clips pick could be in the early to mid teens. I think Kelly Oubre would be a steal if we could get him with the Clips pick. IMO the Clips pick will be anywhere from 12-18.

Oubre is starting to play real well, I think Draft Express has him back in the top 10 again...

I'm a huge Oubre fan. If we don't get a top 3 pick and WCS/Stanley Johnson are off the board I would be happy if we picked Oubre with our first pick.

With the state of the east I cant see the clippers pick being that low. I predict the west play out as follows (barring injury). OKC over takes the suns for the 8th seed. The Clippers seem poised to add some vets to their weak bench (most via Cs buyouts). These additions should keep them locked into the playoffs. Even the wests 8th seed will likely have a better record then all but the top 4 in the east. So that would mean that the 8th seed in the west gets the 18th pick. I would then put the clips pick in the 18-21 range.

Good for us - the more prospects blossom, the higher the choice. We are 6th right now and would have Stanley Johnson, Winslow, Porzingis, Looney, etc... to choose from. Sounds like a nice consolation prize.

And not just offensively...he's blocking more shots percentage wise than Willie and Jahlil.

I go to UT and I actually just met him yesterday in a burrito place lol, he's a class act, fantastic shot blocker, has great touch on a jumper, and he is a very good rebounder. His hands, explosiveness and his post defense/offense are a concern, but he's got a great motor and a great attitude. Obviously biased, but I'd love to see him in Green.

Clips picking 12 is very unlikely. But I also factored in an injury as a possibility.

The Spurs are breathing down LAC's neck and PHO is right there as well. I am also not counting out OKC from getting the 8th spot.
