The other ESPN mock has us taking Mario Hezonja and Jakop Poetl now. For a draft where we're not getting a crack at the top 5, I do like that outcome. Poetl would seem to be the classic "raw athletic big with all the tools," but the reason why he's kicking ass this year is because he is playing smart and developing some sound offensive skills.

I'd be scared and exited if we pick Hezonja. From what I saw, he is super talented. Could be a go to scorer in the NBA. Though, From what I heard he thinks he is the second coming of MJ, has poor working habits and is no team player. I hope Danny and team research deep on him before picking.

Just watched Barca - Alba Berlin. Boy, Hezonja was terrible on D. A simple screen and he is down. A couple of times was beaten by his man with no screen. Helped one pass away.

Had a very smooth looking catch and shoot J.

IMO, he is definitely a tier below Winslow and Johnson and it is not even close.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

Stanley Johnson will be one of the best wing defenders in the league . He can also knock down the 3 .  Smart and Johnson would be a tremendous defensive combo

Cleveland gets first pick....

No matter the record.

I hate that team

Don't agree.  Knicks will get it no matter what.  NBA needs them to be relevant.  Patrick Ewing all over again.

Agreed, Johnson would be amazing with Smart. And he can turn into a great scorer, I think. If we can't draft Okafor, Towns or WCS, I'm all for Johnson. Then we use the Clippers pick to grab another center.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

Without question, bet the farm on it.

I think everyone is missing the fact that Danny will likely be combining picks to trade up this year, next year or both.

Like Sam Dekker of Wisconsin with either Clipper's pick or Philly's

If we can't get Okafor, my second choice is Porzingis.   Can play him at 3 positions (3, 4 and 5).  Very talented.

Me too, he seems good. Not elite, but can be a new Chandler Parsons in the future. Enough for a late pick, IMO.

I'll take Stanley Johnson, assuming you can't get Okafor.  Definitely avoid Myles Turner.

Me too. I'd rather take Dakari or even Kaminsky with the Clippers pick if we can't have Okafor, Towns or WCS.

This kid looks good.  I don't see anybody projecting him as a first rounder.  Not even in people's 2nd round mocks for that matter.  6'10" guys who can recover like that on defense and have a good feel for the game are not easy to find.  I expect him to move up as people take notice.  Shooting 70% for Gonzaga.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
My picks:

Okafur
Muiday
Towns
Johnson

We'll get one of them.

Then we'll get the worst record in 2015-16 and get a shot at the ukrainian phenom 'hyuknuken'. (?)
Or the Australian Sudanese freak Durant 2.0

Some franchise guys are coming through, and we are going to be front runners for some of them.
