No, Turner is an unrestricted free agent. The Pacers did not tender him a qualifying offer, as it would have been $8.7 million.

Curious: What's the attraction to him? His age? I have heard bad locker room/attitude things about Turner and would love to hear a pro-Turner position.

He's got talent. I agree with you on the locker room issue. Like everything, it depends on the price and the fit. Right now, with Green and Wallace, the fit isn't there. Without Green, at least there's an opening for minutes. Then it would depend on price, which in this case is salary only, and not other assets.
For some guys, it just takes longer to click. Id love to have Gerald Green back, for instance. Turner is a playmaker capable of taking over a game. If the opportunity makes sense from a price and available minutes standpoint, I'd like to see him get a chance here. He will somewhere.
