He still has my 1st rounder next yearand a few more interesting picks to deal (17, 22, 30, etc).   He's closing the gap. Buick reports he's targeting Parsons and Noah with the late picks.

I actually like the potential of the Chaz Buick flutter feed... used properly it provides some info on who's available or what some of the asking price is, etc.

But this feels like trolling of a couple GMs you've had run-ins with -- as does calling either "injury plagued"...

I'm quite clear just from reading y'all's spat here that Eja want's more than 17/22/30 for Parsons and I've got too much respect for Champkind to waste his time with Noah for late picks.

Is this stuff actually up on the website? That's bizarre (on several levels). I've had Noah talks just two people, and only one involved any picks or any real discourse.

I'll give you three guesses which GM it was.

Whoever was behind this needs to stop making up rumors involving me or my team to trump up your own trade value. That's dirty pool for a friendly league. Which, outside of a few regulars, feels less and less friendly every time I check this thread.

People write nonsense on there all time. Most of it is personal attacks about me.  And even the stuff that is relevant (trade discussions involving my team)... I've written like 2% of them.  Lol.  Some of it seems to pan out... some of it is purely made up... much like the real sports media.

You trying to inflate the trade value of Noah by creating fake rumors claiming he's worth #22 + #30 isn't something to cry over.   He's worth much less imo.  His career is basically over.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

I've written one thing there, and it was a joke in an attempt to smooth things over between us. I guess there are still some hard feelings. But, if you are leaking trade talks in a revenge scheme (and there's no proof, but it does seem like quite a coincidence that the people YOU'VE had problems with are getting talked about on YOUR website), please stop. This whole thing is weird and unpleasant.

"You trying to inflate the trade value of Noah by creating fake rumors claiming he's worth #22 + #30 isn't something to cry over.   He's worth much less imo.  His career is basically over."

While I appreciate this input, and without getting into specifics, you offered me more than this for Joakim less than three weeks ago. What changed between then and now? And maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like most people would trade two second rounders for Noah in a heartbeat.

Champ, I don't think you understand how that website works.  This doesn't surprise me since any bit of problems I've had with you in the past is the result of miscommunication as well.

Anyone can submit content to Chaz Buick.  He reports stuff willy nilly.  A massive chunk of the posts about Bellevue weren't leaked by this organization.   If Buick is reporting stuff about ChampKind that you find inaccurate, take it up with the good people of FSPN.

As for Noah's value... if you get more than #22 + #30 for him, I'll be stunned.   He's a poor man's Biyombo at best... except Noah is old enough to be Biyombo's grandmother.  Just my opinion.

Which is...you. And while anyone can submit content to it, that doesn't mean that it's not primarily coming from one source.

And, to retread a previous point, if you think 22 and 30 is an overpay, why did you offer me more than that 2.5 weeks ago?

Good lord. Let's go back to not talking.

For all I know, it's you who is leaking info about your own team in an effort to continue fabricating hostility towards my organization.     In-fact, I think it's a fair assumption that any info Chaz Buick is getting about ChampsKind... is from ChampsKind himself.  Dont' drag me into it.

Well, cool man. Thank you for being personally insulting to me along the way. You're probably totally right. There's no way you would act in a childish manner like that. I appreciate you setting me straight. Have a good night.

LarBrd33, stop with that flutter feed nonsense. Its nothing but tacky! Just shut down that [dang] thing. I've been ignoring all the made up rumours you post about my players and team, but I think its time for, what you thought might be cute and funny, endeavor to end.

You've been nothing but annoying. And not in a competitive way.

Champ, I'm not insulting you.  I'm just saying you're trying to peg rumors (about your own organization) on me... when there are 18 other GM's in this league all with access Chaz Buick and all with their own agendas to push.   Has it not crossed your mind that perhaps someone clever is trying to create drama between me and others?   Is your assumption that nobody in this league is that clever?  C'mon...

It is, in-fact, just as likely that you created those rumors about your organization just so you could come on here and push the anti-LarBrd33 agenda by claiming I was spreading fake rumors about your organization.

If I'm going to be held responsible for Chaz Buick's reporting... so should you.

See BFM's post above... once again trying to peg Chaz Buick's rumors on me.   I bet BFM was the one who posted it.  Lol.

Agreed. Although the idea had some merit, it has brought far more bad than good.

See, this is the part that was actually insulting and condescending. But maybe I didn't understand it right. Since it's on a website and written communication just isn't my thing.

"If I'm going to be held responsible for Chaz Buick's reporting... so should you."

Good point. I forgot about that time I invented Chaz Buick, made a separate page on my website for it, and then told everyone to check it out on the forum and message board. That's my bad. I'm in on this one.

Yeah.   It was an experiment.    Who woulda thunk that a webpage allowing anonymous fake rumors would result in anonymous fake rumors.  Go figure!?   Personally, I'm getting a kick out of (most) of the rumors, because I know which ones I DIDN'T write.    It's been fun to watch.   Especially as people started writing tons of rumors about Bellevue... and then taking it a step further by creating rumors about other teams that would appear to transparently be coming from Bellevue.   Whoever did that, hats off to you... that was a clever way to use the media to manipulate.

Someone obviously see's me as a threat to get targetted players like Marc Gasol... so what's the best way to eliminate me as a trade competitor?... turn everyone against me in a "boycott trading with LarBrd33" pact.   Very clever use of the flutter feed.   Nicely played.

That was the entire point of the Flutter feed... adding the element of "the media" to a fantasy basketball league.   GM's play the media all the time for their own personal agendas.  I can't fault anyone for using the Flutter feed as it was intended.

I thought those insulting comments against you on your website were classless. Boy I was wrong!

Who knows, you posted those yourself. Trying to get some sympathy. Perhaps Rondo2287 was right.

BFM, you seem to be personally offended that I suggested you might be behind the fake rumors on the Chaz Buick flutter feed... that's interesting.

I'm being accused of posting those fake rumors too... I'm not personally offended by that accusation.

Yet, there's a 1/20 chance that either one of us posted those fake rumors.   Do you understand what I'm saying?
