I think people don't realize just how hard it is to have players average over 40ppg.

19 players did it last year.  Thats it.

I was thinking more about John Henson.  Dude is going to be a beast.  Hype machine.  untouchable.  1.14 points per minute played, give the guy 32 minutes, 36.5 points per game, build in a slight improvement in his play, 40 points.  Hype machine.  Did I mention he's now untouchable. Or something like that.

Pshaw...

Brandon Wright had 1.06 points per min played.... so if he played 52 minutes/game he'd average a whopping 55.12 fpg.

And last time I checked 55.12 >>>> 36.5

Maybe the Drinkers overwhelmed Birdman with quantity over quality.

Good deal for Birdman and for GC. Birdman gets good value for Dragic to jump start his rebuild, depending on who he picks at 8 and 25, and GC is already cashing in some of those assets to fortify a roster to take on Pitt.

Now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, Birdman still has Marc Gasol to move for assets, and well, GC still has a stockpile of assets.

Jackalopes taking offers on these mega-stars:

Bogdan Bogdanovic:
- Won the EuroLeague Rising Star for 2nd time this year (matching Mirotic's mark)
- Due to come over next summer to Phoenix
- Perfect for your tanking one more year needs, as he'd go in the mid-lottery next year at this rate

Jae Crowder:
- For shame if you don't already know everything about him, Celtics fans.

James Johnson:
- Consistent 20+ and point-per-minute fantasy guy still with upside

Aron Baynes / Kyle O'Quinn:
- Two of the 2nd-tier big men free agents, will sign somewhere with playing time this summer. Buy low! Buy low!

So Holiday (36fp) and Middleton (27fp) out... Dragic (31fp last year, but you project 35fp next year) and Hibbert (26fp last year, but you project 29fp next year) in.   Holiday being hurt last year hurt him.  Dragic is theoretically a safer bet next season.

He still has my 1st rounder next yearand a few more interesting picks to deal (17, 22, 30, etc).   He's closing the gap. Buick reports he's targeting Parsons and Noah with the late picks.
