LarBrd33 really knows how to pimp his players. Flipped rolled dough for 2016 first rounder. And know Biyombo is the next best thing to happen to NBA. :o ::)
ive spent more time on this forum singing the praises of Nerlens noel than anything... And I haven't had a single trade discussion involving him ever.  Sometimes I comment on players because i believe in them.  I believed in Bennett.  I believe in Biyombo.  Believe in Bellevue.

UF: No, I won't trade u LBJ for Cory Joesph and a second rounder.

BV: So, Cory Joesph strait up for LeBron then?

UF: No.

BV: In addition to Cory Joesph what would it take to get LeBron?

UF: How about a few off those players on your roster that you refuse to to even discuss???

BV:

UF: You have the pieces to get a LeBron deal done, but u refuse to even acknowledge any of these players in our discussions.

BV: Ok, so tell me the players on my roster that u want.

UF: Some combination of Parker, Exum, Noel, Smart, etc... and a very high draft pick.

BV:

<time passes>

BV: In addition to Cory Joesph and my second rounder, which which is really an NBA first rounder, what would it take to get LeBron?

UF: sigh....

;)

BOX News 6/8/15

Bellevue Associated Press:

Fans in Bellevue are getting restless regarding their local CBL Team. The initial excitement of acquiring the #1 and #2 picks in the upcoming draft to pair with Jabari Parker, Anthony Wiggins, Nerlens Noel, and Joel Embiid has been long forgotten after a blizzard of advertising focused on Bismack Biyombo and Nick Stauskas. BOX News reporter interviewed local fans this morning, all of whom are past the stage of impatience and preparing to protest. Most fans appeared not only confused but visibly angry at the direction of the franchise and the lack of focus on the top talent they have acquired.

One fan interviewed outside the Bellevue fan zone said "I came in the store about 15 times now looking to buy Wiggins and Parker jerseys, but they never have them! All I see are Biyombo jerseys all over the place, and some Staukskas jerseys, and the old Shved jerseys on the on sale rack. I don't get it. " The fan was wearing a Bellevue "Free Alexei Shved" shirt.

A crowd sitting outside the Bellevue box office appeared even more upset. One fan stated " We camped out overnight to buy season tickets so that we can see Wiggins, Parker, Noel, Embiid, Towns, and Okafor this year. When the box office opened, they said they are only selling preseason tickets , and regular season tickets for games against Toine's Boys, Make Me Some Bacon, and Dirty Diggles. ****!!" When I asked, What about the games against Pitt Pisces and the Gainesville Ubuntu's?!?!? They answered "Those are not available" I asked when they will be available, they said "they are not up for discussion, would you like a Biyombo poster?" "#&*%*!@!!!!! " Shocking developments in downtown Bellevue.

Fans and the media are wondering what the franchise leadership is doing, and if we will ever see the Bellevue stars in action this season.

When reached for comment, GM LB33 just said "Believe in Bellevue" When asked to elaborate, he said "would you like a Biyombo poster?"

Jamal Crawford is available. Teams looking to make a push this season should take notice. Strengthen your bench ;)

lol tp

We have a draft party scheduled at the arena.  Doors open an hour after the draft starts.  Plenty of time for fans to come in, buy a "Porter Jr dog" or "Biyombo burger" and settle into their seat to watch the leprechauns make their big selection at #26

<<<<------ we been using "Danny Ainge Has a Posse" for years now as our avatar.... GC/UY suggests that Bellevue rips off something diff. to pump up Biyombo's trade value.  :(

Rumor:  Bismack Biyombo close to being traded

Lol I somehow didn't even consciously realize that.  I maybe had it subliminally in my head, but more so I was just thinking of viral art and a jokey way to list his freakish length.

"BELIEVE IN BELLEVUE" Motto for Young Team's Potential.
Nairda Iksworanjow - Whacko! Sports

BELLEVUE, WA - As the young Bellevue Leprechauns struggle to find an identity, a team that has spent the past two seasons preaching patience appears to have changed their tune.  In what many see as a desperate and transparent bid to up record-low ticket sales, the team has reportedly invested 90% of their budget on marketing.

Results of this effort appeared over the weekend as thousands of stickers featuring star prospect Bismack Biyombo suddenly littered the city streets.  In and around the city, 168 billboards were erected featuring a prominent banner.  State-wide, the walls of several hundred thousand buildings were plastered with bright orange posters encouraging the population to "Believe in Bellevue":

It is believed that the legendary street artist, Denis998, is behind the poster and banner designs.  Hot off the heels of acquiring stars Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, the young team does have some reason for optimism.  The two players will be joined next season by previously injured prospects Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker and Julius Randle as well as the top two draftees this Summer (widely believed to be Karl Anthony-Towns and Jahlil Okafor).  Still, others doubt the ceiling of injured players and raw prospects and the potential for a team where the oldest player is a mere 24 years of age.  Said GM of the team, LarBrd33, in a brief statement:  "We have the youngest and most exciting foundation in the league.  We ask you to believe in us.  Believe in Bellevue."
Does it help that the hundreds of thousands of propaganda posters flooding Bellevue city streets have rookie of the year Andrew Wiggins and team captain Nerlens Noel front and center ?   I'm not firing my marketing team just yet.

For the record Mk can DO the Ubuntus... but I'll prob. disagree with every word SINCE UTAH FINISHED BELOW ME IN BOTH LEAGUES FOR THE FIRST TIME EVAH!!!!!!!!!

Time to take the focus off of LB for a few minutes. I believe all this attention may be going to his head. ;)

Let's take a look at everyone's favorite H2H league commissioner/champion GC & his Point League silver plated roster!

Since UY! finished in second place this season, let's base this review of his teams viability to contend. We are using the baseline of 33.5ppg as the PAR value for a contending roster. A team averaging 33.5ppg over the 902 games season, will total 30,217. Pitt only totaled 29,537 points this season in 887 games for an average of 33.3ppg.

FBB Elite (50+ppg):
DeMarcus Cousins - If Cousins remains with the Kings, George Karl's uptempo offense may boost, his already obscene 53.7ppg. If/when Cousins is traded to the Cs, I would expect his ppg to remain about the same.

FBB Super Stars (44-50ppg):
<none>

FBB All Stars(35-43ppg):
Rudy Gay - Like Cousins, Gay's stellar production may increase under Karl.
Paul Millsap - I expect Paul to remain with the Hawks, but regardless of where he ends up next season, his production will be similar.

Unrated/ Under Appreciated (30-34ppg):
Mike Conley - Boringly consistent.
Reggie Jackson - If Reggie elevated his game next season, I would not be surprised. SVG runs a PG friendly system. I can see him moving up to the All Stars by averaging ~40ppg.
David West - His production may take a hit next season, but should still be solid. Perhaps, 28-32ppg. Health is a concern.

Startable Depth (25-29ppg):
Roy Hibbert - Hibs is normally a pretty health guy. His production has violent swings in both directions. He's much easier to deal with in a points format. In a h2h league, his 3 week stretches of non-production are difficult to handle. He could use a change of scenery. It seems like Bird and co are ready to move on, but his production should remain consistent wherever he ends up.
Joe Johnson - Slowly fossilizing.
Jarret Jack - Jack's production depends on his team. Brooklyn is perfect for him. I would expect Billy King so offer him a max extension after next season b/c, well, he's Billy King.

Break In Case Of Emergency (20-24ppg):
C.J. Miles - PG13's return will cut into C.J.'s production. I can see a 17-19ppg ave for min next season.
Brandan Wright - Nothing new here.
Patrick Patterson - If Toronto make some changes, PPat may be inline for a boost. If his role increases, I would not be surprised is he hit 27-30ppg.
Jose Calderon - Jose is better when playing with better players. Is a bounce back season on the way? I am not sure. I would not gamble on it. He may be replace by a rookie or FA.

Prospects/Waiver Wire (<20ppg):
Justin Hamilton - I am not a fan. He's just another guy, but then I did some research. His 8th grade statics are remarkably similar to Bismack Biyombo's 15 y/o KBA (Kazakhstan Basketball League) production. I would expect GC to flip Hamilton for a lottery pick in this fall's draft.
2015 #8 (Draft Express - Frank Kaminsky PF) - GC acquired a very good lottery pick. I am a little hesitent to pencil in Frank the Tank b/c I expect him to be selected by BV, #1 or #1, but let's go with it.

2015/16 Projections:

PG Mike Conley       34ppg
PG Reggie Jackson    38ppg
SG Joe Johnson       26ppg
SG Jarret Jack       25ppg
SF Rudy Gay          43ppg
SF Paul Millsap      38ppg
PF David West        28ppg
PF Patrick Patterson 27ppg
C  DeMarcus Cousins  55ppg
C  Roy Hibbert       29ppg
U  Brandan Wright    21ppg
Total Points: 364
Average Points Per Game: 33.1

B  #8 (Kaminsky)     37ppg  (jk!!! let's go with 18ppg)
B  C.J. Miles        17ppg
B  Jose Calderon     16ppg
B  Justin Hamilton   8 ppg
B  <empty>

It looks like GC has a real chance to make the leap into true contention next season... or does he? The 33.1ppg is a little misleading b/c there is no adjustment for injuries. One way to work in an injury adjustment, it to add in the 12th most productive player's ppg ave (Let's use C.J's 17ppg instead of an unknown rookie's) and divide by 12. This drops GC's ppf to 31.75. This is a 1ppg increase over this pas season's 30.8ppg. This is good, but not quite contending.

For GC to solidify his roster, he needs to find a better 11th starter than Brandan Wright & his 21ppg and add one mid-level ~25ppg bench scorer. These two things can be done via trade or the waiver wire. GC really needs to hit on the #8 pick. Adding the right rookie here can inject a talented roster with a young player who will increasingly help as the year gets on. Striking gold with this pick, e.g. selecting a surprise ROY MCW (38ppg), may the special sauce to become just the second Points/H2H leagues cross-over Champion.

Ubuntu has like 50 draft picks at this point.  I thought he was going to land Melo, but Melo seems very off the table at the moment with the new Disciples convinced of a top tier finish.

Mk

P.S. 33-00-32, u r up next.

A couple of follow-ups....

1. We're generally in agreement about a number of things here Mk... but there are 2-3 key differences i'm hanging my hopes on (that I'm gonna hold a little close to the vest so as not to undercut my own trade discussions).

2. If the Ubuntu's make the #8 pick I can almost guarantee that we will not be selecting Frank Kaminsky...

3. Odd that you're glossing over my other picks... based on the way the drafts went previously and my boards in each (yes i'm an obsessive record keeper....) I would have taken with the 17/22/25/27/30 picks: J. Clarkson (catually i *did* take him at #29... then dropped him for Sebastian FREAKIN Telfair), Gobert, Hardaway, Wroten, R. Jax and Jae Crowder with those picks over the last four years. (those aren't "He was still on the board revisionism... those are who the next guy avail. on my board at those spots given the way the draft had unfolded up to that point...) Be afraid, be very, very afraid.

4. In his 20 or so games under George Karl... Cousins improved to 56.1 ppg (!)... small sample size, but we're ready!!

P.S. 33-00-32, u r up next.

A couple of follow-ups....

1. We're generally in agreement about a number of things here Mk... but there are 2-3 key differences i'm hanging my hopes on (that I'm gonna hold a little close to the vest so as not to undercut my own trade discussions).

I expect a lot to change between now and this fall, but this is in the moment.

I have to come clean, I can't keep track of all these moving parts. The only thing I locked onto when looking over the picks was #8. This was my bad for two reasons.

1. 17/22/25/27/30 - That's a lot of trade value right there! Those give u a lot of ammo to improve on your current roster.

2. You are the best rookie talent evaluator in the two leagues.... hands down. It use to be TWW's, but it's yours now for sure. Anyone can hit on a lottery pick, but year-in year-out find talent in the 20s-30s.

4. In his 20 or so games under George Karl... Cousins improved to 56.1 ppg (!)... small sample size, but we're ready!!

This can't be understated. Karl's system is FBB magic. I went conservative with my estimate b/c of the trade rumors. However, if he sticks, Cousins may hit 60ppg.

Just to amplify a point Mk has made 1,000,000 times....

I picked up CJ Miles *after* the end of 2013-14 season and he was a 22 ppg guy in this league (24 ppg after the break).

Not yet...... ;D ;D

I should clarify... Miles was coming off a 17.0 ppg season and was a spec add, but he provided 22.1 ppg for me this season --- a useful thing when Jrue Holiday went out with a 2nd leg injury in as many seasons.

I'm just agreeing with Mk that there are 20-25 ppg guys somewhere on the waiver wire most likely.
