Bad for the US if this result stands. If Germany wins, a US win tomorrow guarantees a spot in the last 16. If Ghana wins, the US vs Germany match will be crucial even if US wins tomorrow.

Klose, my hero
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Klose now needs one goal to become the leading we scorer.  I hope he gets it

I'm too emotionally invested to say whether the draw is deserved or lucky for Germany, but I'll take it, nontheless. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Gotta do a better job against the US.

@casperian Aachen

Ah, close to the dutch border. Nice, old city, not too small. Could've been worse.  :P

I thought that was the best game I've seen so far in this World Cup.  This didn't look like the case of an underdog playing above themselves, frustrating the favored team and taking them out of their game.

To me it looked more like two powerhouses going toe to toe.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

A U.S. win tomorrow and they are the first team from the group of death to advance.  That would be huge.  Portugal will definitely be up for the game though.

Altidore traveled with the U.S., probably not a good sign for his chances of playing again in the tournament.  You would think he would have stayed in Sao Paolo and rehabbed if he wasn't that injured.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Stupid front flip. Could have hurt himself

People say that for 15 years, now.  :P

Klose himself said post game he probably shouldn't have done it, but "it just felt right".

He didn't quite nail the landing like he used to.

Loew said it's just a cut.

He didn't quite nail the landing like he used to.

Getting ready for Part II of today's Africa/Europe double header.  Hope it lives up to part one.

Bosnia play some really enjoyable passing movements. Good team.
