I'd be happy with Adnerson at 17. I don't care about his "slowness". You can be quick, but if you can't read the D and get out of control, whats the sense? He seems to get to where he wants still. I'd love to seem him come here and have PP come back and teach the young fella.

I like him a little better than Warren. He shoots the 3 better, and is a better passer, which could show a better BBIQ. I think DA has been going towards IQ over athletic ability over the last couple years. Except for Fab, that was a crap shoot he has SOME BBIQ to work with.

I would have gone with Miles Plumlee...But Fab Melo is rated as one of the dumbest all time pro athletes. Danny goes from drafting high bbiq to low general 70 iq

on offense, i dont see how he will be able to get past nba defenders consistently, as he did college defenders, when driving to the basket.

College defenders like Aaron Gordon?

It would be a really hard choice for me if Anderson, Warren, and Porzingis were all available at 17. I think even at 7' Porzingis could survive defensively at SF against most or all matchups with his length, intensity, and elite agility for a 7 footer.

A Porzingis/Sullinger/KO frontcourt could be pretty freaking interesting, and Porzingis would fill out and shift to PF and Center long-term.

Sure, Porzingis would get beat and scored on off the dribble by SFs 4-5 inches shorter than him, but he wouldn't be a total disaster overall defensively on the perimeter, and he would disrupt a lot of shots on ball and off ball, and get quite a few rebounds as well.

His face up game is extremely promising, as both a shooter and as a slasher, even if he is not as ready to contribute immediately as Warren and Anderson.

it is quite obvious that i am referring to college defenders as a whole, a large group with various differences that result in various outcomes.

to select consciously a single, and clearly abnormal, individual as the means to interpret my statement misses the point and changes the debate from a general assessment of potential to an individual matchup which is far less generalizable by its very definition.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

That's a lot of words you used there to defend your generalizations. The fact is Anderson faced Gordon multiple times and was able to do what he wanted, and Gordon is the best defender out of this draft that you would want to put on Anderson.

The NBA is made up of mostly less athletic forwards than Aaron Gordon.
