Jeff Goodman: Word from Celtics workout is that Kyle Anderson stood out, but all fared well - TJ Warren, PJ Hairston, C Early, D Daniels, KJ McDaniels. Twitter @GoodmanESPN - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.D4AkrfEO.dpuf

Thoughts?

Does he drop to us at #17?  Is he worth trading up to say #14 for him if necessary??

Still love my boy TJ!!!!  Go PACK!!

I don't like Anderson because i'm not convinced he can shoot or guard any position in the NBA.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

If the Celtics feel good about his quickness and lateral movement, then he's the guy I want at 17 (assuming Stauskas is long gone).  Brings a lot to the table offensively and gives lots of lineup flexibility.

The nickname alone will probably drop him about five slots in the draft--so he'll be more of a bargain.

I think this dude has tons to offer. Love this crop of guys at 17 (Anderson, Warren, Hairston, etc). Solid.

Pierce is slow-mo.

If Anderson could play at his own pace at a high level, he'd be gold.

Pierce is a much better athlete.  If Anderson can hit threes at 40%, he should be decent considering his length and passing.  He'll always be weak defensively though.  If we don't trade for Love, I hope we move up a few spots using the Philly or Clippers pick.  It seems as though there is a big drop off in talent after picks 14/15... according to DX's mock draft.  I'd be happy with Stauskas, Harris's, Young, or Hood, but I'm not excited about the next group of guys.

He needs the perfect system to excel. One where he can handle the ball on the offensive, where it plays to his strengths. With Rondo, that won't happen and he's an average shooter at best so having him off the ball hurts spacing.

Defensively his feet are slow so he'll struggle covering most 2's and 3's.

If he turns out to be a good player, that nickname will be a lot of fun.  I can imagine yelling Slow Mo from the stands or in a bar.

Could he be Rondo's back up PG, run the second unit?

I think Anderson actually has some star potential, in the older Paul Pierce mode.

Even Aaron Gordon can't really shut him down one on one, and I simply don't understand why people say Anderson is a bad shooter. He's a good shooter with a wide array of moves, and if he shot more he could really fill it up.

He can shoot over SFs or dribble around Pfs, and he's only going to keep getting better.
