Nobody here actually thinks we have a snowball's chance in Hell of actually winning the "lottery" tonight, do they?

I got 7.

The Celtics have an approximately 1 in 10 chance of winning the lottery. What do you have on the snowball?

Is David Stern or Adam Silver guarding said snowball? Do they refuse to televise its fate? Not all snowballs in Hell are the same.

Nightmare Scenario:  Seeing Boston's name called before the Lakers. means the Lakers got into the Top 3.

Yup. And i am predicting thats how it's going to go down.

The good thing is that this is a 3-4 star player draft, followed by really high potential kids through pick number 8. The worst the Celtics can do is pick 8, and then they should draft the left overs of Smart, Gordon, Vonleh. I like those players.

Celtics earn banners the hard way fight , scratch and do without all the luck of the Lakers .

The Lakers fully expect get a top 1 or 2 pick....  It's part of being part of the a laker Nation

When they get low on all stars ....new talent they break the door down in get in or the draft will fall

their way.

That's nonsense, I refuse to believe Ben McLemore made an open shot this year.

But then there?s another trinket that Pagliuca is bringing that might seem a little odd ? a handmade ceramic rooster from Portugal.

Robert Sherman, the U.S. Ambassador to Portugal, is a Celtics fan and Boston native. And he was the one who sent Pagliuca the small figurine of a rooster, which is considered to be a symbol of good luck in Portugal.

?There?s this legend of the rooster,? Pagliuca explained. ?A pilgrim was crossing Spain and they accused him of stealing some silver from a rich landowner. At the trial, they convicted him, and he was going to get hanged, and he begged and said he didn?t do it.

?The judge was eating a rooster, and the man said, ?If the rooster stands up on that plate and crows, you have to commute my sentence,? and it did. So they saved the guy. And the guy went back to Portugal and he carved a rooster there, so it became the symbol of luck there.?

The rooster was painted by Marines who guard the embassy, all of them ?big Celtics fans,? Pagliuca said. In return, the NBA helped facilitate an Internet stream of the lottery for those Marines to watch as the event unfolds.
